‘The curls it creates are not only gorgeous, but they actually last all day’
The Dyson Airwrap has reached cult status over the years, and chances are, you already know someone who swears by it. Now the brand has unveiled its latest innovation: the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x, a new and improved version of the iconic tool.
Dyson claims the multi-styler and dryer is its most powerful and fastest yet, delivering twice the air pressure for effortless curls, sleek styles, blow-dries and smooth finishes. Shoppers are already praising it for leaving hair looking beautiful, healthy, and damage-free thanks to its smart heat and airflow technology.
As expected, though, the upgrade doesn’t come cheap. The new Airwrap is available for £579.99, which isn’t exactly an impulse purchase, so it might be worth requesting it as a Christmas present.
Like the original, the Co-anda2x is lightweight and compact, meaning no more tired arms mid-style. It also comes with six versatile attachments that automatically adjust heat and airflow, helping to protect strands while drying, curling, straightening, smoothing or adding volume.
To top it off, Dyson has included a sleek storage case to keep everything organised. It also comes in two colour ways: ceramic pink and rose gold or plum.

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™ multi-styler and dryer includes six attachments in a Dyson-designed case.
For those put off by the high price point, there are several more affordable alternatives. I use the Bellissima Italia Prodigy Air Multi Styler almost every day for adding volume and curling the ends of my hair. It’s currently on sale for £179.99 from £249.99.
Otherwise, Drybar’s The Double Shot Blow-Dryer Brush (£100, Boots) is another great option. I’ve used this previously, and it left my locks looking like I’d just left the salon.
Back to Dyson, it’s already had some great early reviews from shoppers. One customer said: “This sleeker design was much easier to use and hold whilst being more efficient with drying. The buttons are soft touch, making it easier to adjust them whilst in use.
“You can really feel the strength in power and notice how quickly it dries the hair, even from very wet hair. I could style my hair with ease. I would definitely recommend it if you want to achieve beautiful results whilst keeping your hair healthy and damage-free.”
Meanwhile, a second chimed in: “I have naturally curly hair, which takes forever to dry. Using the Airwrap i.d. multi-styler with the diffuser attachment has halved my drying time from my original Airwrap, which I have had since they first came out, and I love.”
However, it isn’t all good news. This disappointed user noted: “Unfortunately, the curls don’t hold. I expected more. I’m very disappointed.”
On a more positive note, this Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x fan piped up: “With my long, frizzy, curly hair, I usually spend half the morning fighting with styling tools, but this worked so much quicker than I expected. The speed of styling really surprised me, and the curls it creates are not only gorgeous, but they actually last all day.”
