Tassimo has reduced the cost of some of its coffee machines by up to 58%, with some costing as little as £34.99
Investing in a home coffee machine can be a daunting task, especially for those who have never used one before. Not to mention that getting an espresso machine to make a fresh brew without leaving the comfort of our homes can cost a few hundred quid up front.
However, brand Tassimo, which specialises in coffee and espresso machines, has released a number of pretty epic deals on its Happy, MyWay, Finesse, and Style designs, which only require the use of coffee pods to create a delicious morning or afternoon cuppa.
All users need are some coffee pods (the machines are compatible with Tassimo’s own range) and the press of a button to create a coffee that would rival the indie cafe down the road.

These Tassimo machines rival the likes of Nespresso’s Vertuo Pop Pod Coffee Machine by Krups , which is on sale for £59.99, and Versuni PHILIPS L’OR Barista Sublime Capsule Coffee Machine , now £69.99 from £109.99, both of which run with one touch of a button and require coffee pods. The latter has the ability to pour a double shot too, meaning it can make two cups of coffee at one time, if you so wish.
While these deals are pretty impressive, some of Tassimo’s coffee machines have up to 58% off, with many of them costing less than £40. Ideal for newbies to home espresso making.
For example, for those after a cheap and cheerful option to dip their toe into the sea of coffee machines, without the eye-watering price, the brand’s Style Friendly – Black is currently on sale for £34.99 down from £79.99. A compact option, it’s an ideal first coffee machine for those who don’t really have the space in their kitchen, as it measures at 265 x 171 x 320mm.
Although it does come in three colours, the cream and white variants are slightly more expensive at £39.99. Described as having ‘hassle-free brewing’, the coffee machine is made from 57% recycled plastic and is made with Intellibrew technology. This helps with the brewing of each coffee type, from lattes to rich espressos.
No pre-heating is required and, as previously mentioned, it only requires the touch of one button to make the perfect brew – of course, don’t forget to put the pod in. Get it here.
Similar to the Style, the brand’s Happy coffee machine is now £34.99 instead of £79.99 and is a little lighter at 1.5kg rather than 2.6kg. Measuring a little smaller too at 265 x 175 x 305 mm, the machine is loved by shoppers for being ‘easy to use’ and ‘making very nice coffee’.
While the cream design is an elegant option that’ll certainly brighten up a space and add to it without being too garish (as some appliances can be), the Happy also comes in black for a sleek and stylish look. The machine has an impressive 4.7-star rating with coffee fans saying how it was a ‘brilliant machine’ and better than they expected.
Someone else added: “This is my fourth Tassimo, and I would say it’s the best. It seems to give a larger drink. I ordered online at a discount and was delivered without a problem.”
Although for some, it wasn’t quite up to scratch. One three-star shopper said: “Machine is very basic, I should have gone for a better model.” For those who prefer a bit more of an intense coffee in the morning, the brand’s FINESSE Cream – Coffee Machine has been discounted in the sale to £39.99 down from £89.99, shaving £50 off.
Coming in four different colours, red, cream, white and black, the machine is similar to the aforementioned models in terms of functionality and make-up, but it has been crafted with IntensityBoost technology, which, as the brand describes, helps users to adapt the coffee intensity to their personal taste. Pushing the button for three seconds gives it a more intense taste.
With a weight of 2.75kg and dimensions of 366 x 265 x 157 mm, it’s a slightly larger model and has had the seal of approval from Tassimo coffee lovers, one of whom said alongside a 5-star rating: “I like it a lot, the extra feature to intensify the flavour is welcomed. A big Tassimo fan now onto my fourth machine, bought at a great price.”
While some found that the gadget’s water tank was ‘too small’ at 0.7L, others didn’t quite have the same issue, with many saying it was the ‘best yet’.
Now, these three models have the button to start the coffee brewing process on the side, where users would place their mug. However, the most expensive model in the deals, which is still a pretty savvy find, has its power button just above the mug and there are a number of different settings to play with.
The Tassimo My Way 2 in Black usually retails at £99.99 but has been reduced to £69.99. Fitted with a BRITA filter, unlike some of the previous models, the coffee machine doesn’t just provide coffee and actually be used to create any hot drink – tea and hot chocolate pods from Tassimo can be used with it.
With a larger water tank of 1.6L, a 1500W power (as opposed to the usual 1400W) and dimensions of 285 x 228 x 340 mm, the machine is a little larger and has more capacity to create a variety of different-sized coffees. It also has an automatic power-down to help conserve energy.
Shoppers have been loving the new upgrades on this machine, one five-star rating shopper said: “This is such a step up from my old Tassimo basic coffee maker. I used to have to keep my finger pressed on the button to top up my cup, which was so annoying. With this little beauty, I simply select the large cup and it’s sorted, full cup every time.”
“It is very good I like that it makes my coffee hot and I can have it strong or weak.” A second said: “My only wish is that it’s higher, so I can get a latte glass in.”
Alongside the features, the aesthetic of the My Way 2 machine has been complimented, as one person wrote: “Very good looking machine. About the footprint size of a four-slice toaster. You can control the strength, temperature and size of coffee. You can store your four preferences in memory. The water reservoir is easy to fill and has a water filter. It’s quiet and efficient, but most of all, it makes great coffee.”
Although for many, setting the coffee machine up proved to be a little difficult as the instructions aren’t quite as clear as they could be – it seems. One user shared their experience and said: “Only criticism so far concerns the graphic-only instruction sheet. The images are just not clear and understandable enough. A fully detailed written instructions in a multi-lingual and illustrated booklet would be a great improvement.”
It’s important to note that these coffee machines do not come with a milk frother, and these deals don’t always come with coffee pods, so be sure to check whether the deal with the extra pods has been selected before checking out.
