When it comes to achieving a good night’s sleep and waking up feeling refreshed, investing in a quality mattress is crucial. Emma Sleep, renowned for its range of mattresses and bedding, offers a plethora of choices, including the opportunity for customers to receive gifts worth up to £326 with certain purchases.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the brand is running a giveaway until November 1, offering deals such as free pillows, duvets, and protectors with selected mattresses. Among its range is the Emma Hybrid AirGrid Mattress, which boasts a medium softness and features air grid, Emma’s latest innovation for weightless comfort and support.

This mattress comprises seven layers, including the Emma UltraDry breathable cover that can be removed and washed. Another layer “provides ultimate pressure relief” courtesy of MemoryAdapt foam, according to Emma, and there’s a layer designed to “keep your spine happy” as “infinity springs stabilise your spine as you move around at night.”

The Emma Hybrid AirGrid Mattress comes in sizes up to super king, with the single priced at £669 and the double at £999. Each mattress purchase includes a complimentary cloud pillow (one for single, two for double, king and super king), a mattress protector and a cloud duvet, collectively valued at up to £326, reports Wales Online.

For the single size, as an example, one complimentary cloud pillow is valued at £80, while the Emma Waterproof Mattress Protector (90x190cm) is worth more than £50, and the cloud duvet 140x200cm is priced at £54. Alternatively, there’s the Emma Hybrid Thermosync Mattress, which earned the title “Best Hybrid Mattress” from Ideal Home.

You can shop the Hybrid Thermosync Mattress at Emma

Featuring six layers, including temperature-regulating foam and seven distinct zones of pocket springs, this mattress scores a 7 (medium) on Emma’s firmness scale of 1 to 10, where 1 represents firm and 10 indicates soft. Customers also receive complimentary items valued at up to £242, comprising cloud pillow(s) and a mattress protector.

Multiple size options are available, including less common ones such as UK small double (£729) and UK king (£919). For those seeking a medium-firm option, the Emma Hybrid Premium Mattress (previously called the NextGen Premium Mattress) boasts five layers. This purchase comes with a complimentary pillow worth £80.

The single mattress is priced at £359, with UK sizes available up to super king (£679), and EU sizing options are also on offer. For extra pillow choices, there are several bundles available, including the Emma Premium Foam Pillow Bundle, which features a pair of foam pillows (£164) plus two Emma 100% Cotton Sateen Pillowcases, worth £44.99, thrown in for nothing.

The Emma Premium Cloud Pillow Bundle (£160) arrives with two premium cloud pillows and two Emma 100% Cotton Sateen Pillowcases (worth £44.99). Finally, the Emma Original Hybrid Pillow Bundle (£130) contains two hybrid pillows and two Emma 100% Cotton Sateen Pillowcases (worth £44.99).

Should eager home decorators wish to breathe fresh life into a mattress, Emma offers several mattress topper bundles, including the Emma Premium Mattress Topper (single costs £228), which comes with a complimentary premium cloud pillow worth £80. There’s also the Emma Flip Mattress Topper (single costs £146), which measures six centimetres in thickness, and the bundle features a free premium cloud pillow worth £80.

Alternative mattress retailers like Dunelm stock the Sareer Pocket Sprung Cool Blue Mattress, ranging from £129 – £319 depending on the size. This mattress boasts pocket springs and a Cool Blue memory foam layer.

The Argos Home Devon Essentials Mattress costs £95 for a single, with a double priced at £120, and is marketed as delivering “exceptional value for money.” It features an enhanced supercoil spring unit that provides a medium-firm feel.

Emma customers have given glowing reviews to their purchases, with one buyer praising the Emma Hybrid Airgrid Mattress, which boasts a 4.8 star rating online from just over 100 reviews: “Love this new mattress, I’m sleeping better already, don’t want to get out bed in the morning.

They continued: “My husband isn’t sure as its a lot hotter than expected, especially as it’s meant to be cooling, we rotate it every week like advised to keep it at its best. So happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone thinking for buying it.”

Another shopper raved about their Emma Hybrid Premium Mattress: “Sublime, superlative! Never have I slept on a mattress which provides such comfort that it’s enabled me to sleep without waking as often as previously experienced. The mattress seems to hold on to the heat generated naturally for much longer.”

However, some reviews highlighted minor issues, with one purchaser noting: “Initially found it too hard but after 7 weeks have adjusted to the firmness and sleeping much better.” Another buyer mentioned regarding the Emma Hybrid AirGrid Mattress: “Nit picking, but the corners do not fill out properly and stay rounded. Aesthetic I know but would finish off the product more professionally.”

A happier buyer enthused about the Emma Hybrid Thermosync Mattress: “Comfortable enough to accommodate my requirement for cushioning – no numb fingers, sore hips, aching back – but also no roll together despite the 10st/15st differential. Result! Very happy return customers. Great service as well.”
