Before you jump ahead there are six key things that make the device stand out from the rest of Samsung’s fleet (ahem, S22 or S23) – and they go a lot further than price drops.
As one expert, Dan Melia, from Mobile Phones Direct shares, as he explains his top reasons to buy the model with ‘heaps of impressive features’. He said: “Up first is the feature everyone is talking about: Circle to Search. In partnership with Google, users will be able to circle items they spot in ads or social media and search for them online, joining the dots to create a truly customer-generated journey.
“The software made possible through Galaxy AI is truly mind-blowing and puts Samsung way ahead of the curve from an innovation and user experience perspective.”
And that’s not the only AI feature on Dan’s list as he speaks highly of Samsung’s newly introduced Live Translation feature too. This new software allows S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra users to call in different languages creating a more seamless translation experience. The third feature on the list is the Galaxy AI, Samsung’s chat assist tech.
“Chat Assist is like a dictionary in your pocket, offering suggestions as you type, taking the context of your text conversation into account to help strike the perfect tone”, said Dan.
Cameras and photography capabilities are usually high-up on mobile shoppers lists, no doubt thanks to the demand of social media posts, videos and live podcasts. And insights from Dan show the S24 is no exception when it comes to capturing quality.
As Dan said: “Offering a 10x optical zoom and 100x Space Zoom across its two telephoto cameras, the photo quality is off the charts. To help elevate images even further, the S Pen’s Photo Assist tool will also recommend edits and remove unwanted objects from your image, so users don’t need to spend hours editing on Photo Shop to get their desired image.
“Lastly – and something that truly sets the S24 apart – is its impressive battery life, which will be a welcome addition for avid gamers and streamers. The S24 boasts the most powerful chip on a Galaxy smartphone to date, intelligently saving power to you’ll never run out of juice on the go.”
The standard S24 device can be bought from Mobile Phones Direct from £45 a month, and shoppers here will get the Buds2 headphones and SmartTag2 bundled in for free. Anyone looking for the more expensive Buds2 Pro headphones, Samsung is offering these for free.
