Nottingham Forest will take on Bournemouth or Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals, while Crystal Palace will face Aston Villa.
Villa reached the last four on Sunday as they swatted aside Championship side Preston North End – the lowest ranked side who were left in the competition – at Deepdale thanks to three second half goals.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a close range finish, before the loanee then doubled the lead from the penalty spot before Jacob Ramsey rounded off the victory with a fine strike.
Saturday’s two matches saw Crystal Palace see off Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage thanks to goals from Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and substitute Eddie Nketiah, before Nottingham Forest battled past Brighton in their third penalty shootout of this season’s competition following a goalless draw. Bournemouth take on Manchester City in the fourth and final quarter-final on Sunday afternoon.
