Gardening Express is currently hosting a load of delectable discounts on covetable plants to add to your garden this summer, including these giant Lily of the Nile plants that are now 30% off. Coming in blue or white, these gorgeous flowers are bigger than your average garden variety, boasting a “football size” that’s sure to make a great centre piece in your garden, on your patio or on your decking.

Normally retailing for £59.95, these flowers are now up for grabs for £39.95, saving shoppers a nifty £20 for a limited time. And what’s more, these flowers can still bloom this year, as they typically flower between the months of June and September.

One shopper who caught these deals left a glowing 5-star review, beaming: “I ordered both the blue and white variety, both arrived in excellent condition and the blue was about 5ft tall and in bloom”.

Another thrilled buyer writes: “The plants arrived well packed and looked healthy. All three of them had flowers and looked great. I was impressed with the service, as I don’t often buy plants online, but I will use the service again! Thanks.”

The tall Agapanthus, Lily of the Nile, features gigantic-sized flower heads as large as footballs, around 20-30cms across, in gorgeous cobalt blue or dazzling white.

These flowers are produced from June to September in a gorgeous quantity, held on strong stems that can grow up to 150cms (5ft tall), with each flowerhead itself lasting for several weeks before it starts to fade.

The clump-forming perennial, native to Africa, has fully hardy flowers with rich green strap-shaped leaves that are sure to make a real statement in any setting. Whether you’re elevating a dull border or creating a tropical-themed haven in your backyard, these flowers are set to create some real summer drama.

This Agapanthus does best in full sunlight when planted in well-drained, moist soil. Set to be a must-have in your summer garden, these flowers are supplied in large, strong flowering plants in approximately 7-10 litre containers, often in flower on delivery in season.

But don’t worry—you don’t have to have a garden to plant these stunning flowers. The Lily of the Nile plants also look fabulous in containers on the patio or deck. So easy to grow and maintain, these flowers will surely be the talk of the town every summer – and right now, they won’t break the bank.

The white variety of these football-sized Lily of the Nile plants is also up for grabs with the same 30% discount at Garden Express.

You can also pick up these striking blue flowers, in a smaller size, from B&Q or Amazon for £10.99. If you fancy snagging a different colour, Thompson & Morgan is currently offering a Pink variation for £14.99.
