The Nyland family said they were ‘spoiled for choice’ by ‘everything you could ever imagine’ in a Christmas shop as they headed to South Wales to snap up some festive goods
A family has expressed their delight after visiting what they believe is the “UK’s biggest Christmas shop”, describing it as “next level”. Jamie and Lauren Nyland described their experience as “magical” after a trip to the Festive Christmas Shop in Cwmbran, South Wales.
With just 69 days left until Christmas Day, the Nylands were astounded by the size of the shop. “I’m not joking when I say this – this shop is massive,” Jamie exclaimed in a TikTok video as they entered the store. Showcasing a giant singing animatronic Rudolph, he continued: “The Christmas decorations here are unreal… they are next level and there’s literally everything you could ever imagine for outdoor decorations.”
Jamie was also thrilled about the “discounts everywhere”, showing off reindeer ornaments at half price. “We thought we might as well get it all now as it is cheaper… it’s a no-brainer,” he added.
The shop boasts “every decoration you could ever think of”, Jamie continued as the family ventured into the Christmas tree section. “We were spoilt for choice,” he said.
After browsing trees in various sizes and colours, Jamie and Lauren chose a sparkling white tree surrounded by large polar bear models and a Santa Claus figure.
“I cannot wait to set this up, this is what Christmas is going to look like in our kitchen,” Jamie declared. “We had to get the polar bears, they are just so unique and we got all the decorations that were on the in-store tree too.”
Showcasing the contents of their overflowing shopping trolley, he concluded: “People might say we have gone overboard, but why not? Life’s too short, the kids will love it and it is all about making Christmas feel magical.”
One TikTok user responded enthusiastically: “How colourful it all is, I’m going to be dragging my husband there! Lol why not enjoy yourselves. Life is precious, create many memories.”
Another person praised the shop: “This is near me, we love it there.”
A third chimed in: “I look forward to seeing the tree up in it’s glory.”
And a fourth TikTok user agreed: “Absolutely beautiful, looking forward to seeing it all at Christmas.”
Last week, the shop posted on Instagram: “Discover Wales’ Biggest Christmas Outlet! The Festive Christmas Shop in Cwmbran is now open! Step into a world of festive magic filled with incredible outlet bargains on Christmas decorations, lights, artificial trees, floristry, sweets and more.”
There are opportunities to meet Santa and Mrs Claus on selected dates throughout October and November. Describing itself as “one of the world’s leading seasonal decoration suppliers”, the shop adds: “There’s no charge to see Santa or Mrs Claus – come along, take photos, and make some magical Christmas memories!”
