Apple starts its iPhone 16 prices from £799 but this December EE, Sky, Mobiles.co.uk all have rivalling deals – plus some shoppers can get a pair of AirPods Pro 4 for free
A new phone may be on a lot of shoppers’ lists this Christmas, and if it’s the iPhone 16 we’ve found some UK deals that chop the price of the handset. It includes one rare festive-fuelled deal that gives shoppers a pair of new AirPod Pro4 earphones when they buy.
The newest iPhone range has caused a stir in the last few days, not only because Christmas brings a chance for fans to snap up the new device with a saving, but its new AI software Apple Intelligence is finally available to use. Leaving many older device users itching to upgrade, some potentially switching from popular Android Samsung S24 and Google Pixel 9 models for it too.
And there’s plenty of deals around to get iPhone 16 shoppers a saving as EE, Mobiles.co.uk, and Sky launch offers. Plus retailers including Amazon and John Lewis have added ‘guaranteed’ Christmas delivery dates to their prices – so ones to pick if you’re still planning to buy to wrap underneath the tree.

Retailer Mobiles.co.uk is giving away a pair of Apple’s newest AirPods, worth £129, for free to shoppers who take out an iPhone 16 plan. Available on multiple iD Mobile tariffs.
As highlighted above, one of the standout deals this week is a free pair of AirPods 4. How does this have anything to do with the iPhone 16? Well those who buy the device through Mobiles.co.uk will get the new earphones for £0.
It is dependant on the plan you pick from iD Mobile and you can see the full list of options, here. One included in the free AirPods deals is the Unlimited Data iD Mobile plan – split across a 24-month period – this iPhone 16 bundle costs £60.99 per month and has an upfront fee of £69.
EE iPhone 16 deal is cheaper than Apple
Those who ditch the Apple Store for EE’s upfront iPhone 16 deal will save £30 on the device – this may not sound like much but considering Apple rarely cuts the price it’s a rare opportunity to save the pennies. As it’s now available for £769 instead of the usual £799.
Sky Mobile will throw in data for £10
Sky Mobile shoppers can get the iPhone 16 from £25 per month – but remember this price is for the device only. This December the provider is offering a data deal that’ll it automatically apply at the checkout.
Anyone who picks the 50GB adjacent data plan will get the price cut down to £10 per month – a saving of £10 per month. Across the full 36-month plan that’s a huge £360 saving knocked off the plan.
Which brings us onto a downside to Sky’s contracts that may not suit all shoppers . Despite seeming to offer a choice of either 12 or 24 months plans at first glance, the mobile contracts are actually a full 36-months long, so you have to commit to three full years.
Speaking of Sky’s deals there are also rival handsets on offer that stood out to us, we certainly think is worth a mention for non Apple users. Including Google’s Pixel 8a which is reduced to £14 per month.
Guaranteed iPhone 16 delivery before Christmas
Now, this part of our roundup has little to do with prices, but more the all-important dates shoppers will recieve their swanky new device. Vital for those buying an iPhone 16 this Christmas, although the non sale prices are a downside to the quick deliver offers.
Amazon’s price is the same as the Apple Store – from £799 for the standard 128GB model – but it’s offering speedy delivery. As its site says: “Arrives before Christmas”, if you ordered it at time of writing (November 17) it would come this Friday, December 20 with free delivery, those who pay can accept at their door tomorrow, November 18.
John Lewis is another retailer, its £799 iPhone 16 is out of stock, however it has models of the bigger 256GB model available for the usual £899. A perk to this it’s its next day delivery offer, as shoppers who paste the code ‘APPLENEXTDAY’ at the checkout will get the speedy delivery for free.
