For kids, it’s six weeks of fun, but for parents, the summer holidays can often be a daunting financial challenge. Working out how to keep your children entertained for six weeks is tough enough without the added expense of feeding extra mouths at lunchtime.

However, restaurants, cafes and pubs across the nation are striving to make things a tad easier for budget-conscious parents. Each year, a variety of eateries unveil their summer holiday deals where kids can dine for just £1 or sometimes entirely free, reports Wales Online.

We’ve put together a comprehensive list of all the places where kids can eat for free or for £1 during the school holidays, so you can plan a summer that won’t empty your wallet. Here are all the restaurants offering summer holiday deals, listed alphabetically.
