Love it or hate it, you’ll almost certainly be needing to wrap some presents over the next week or so – and we’ve found a clever solution that will save you time and effort
With just 11 days to go now until Christmas Day, if you haven’t yet wrapped your Christmas presents, it’s time to start thinking about it. But before your prepare to battle with piles of wrapping paper, ribbons and tape, check out this genius alternative that shoppers are saying “makes wrapping so much easier”.
We’ve found a pack of 40 festive Christmas bags on Amazon with thousands of rave reviews from customers, and which looks set to make struggling with fiddly wrapping paper a thing of the past. To use them, simple pop the gift inside the bag and tie up with the ribbon (which is included with the bag) – simple yet striking.
Currently reduced to £21.99 for a pack of 40, this works out at 55p per present – and they can even be reused, if your recipient opens them carefully!

The pack contains 40 bags in four different sizes and designs, from 16cm x 22cm up to 42cm x 55cm, plus 50 gift tags. Made from aluminised polymer, if reused these bags offer a more eco-friendly alternative to foil wrapping paper – which often can’t be recycled – not to mention saving you time, according to Amazon shoppers.
“Great quality! These lovely bags saved me hours of wrapping. They are so good I will definitely purchase again next year,” one satisfied customer wrote.
“I loathe wrapping gifts, so these bags seemed like a perfect solution. Good selection of sizes and have used some already,” another wrote. “Perfect for wrapping awkward shaped gifts and very colourful too. Look great under the Christmas tree!”
A third person called them a ‘game changer’: “Omg these bags are amazing, no wrapping now, just pop the present in the bags, tie with gift tag and done. Game changer for Christmas.”
One customer, however remarked that “the Christmas bags are great, much quicker than having to wrap presents and they look good too, the only negative I have is that the largest bags are only a single layer for some reason and tend to split where as all the other sizes are double layered and much stronger” – so you may need to double up when using these large ones.
