Stream top Disney Plus titles like Only Murders in the Building, Agatha All Along and The Bear for a fraction of the usual price
Disney+ has slashed its prices with the return of a popular streaming deal that’s more than half price. From today (September 12), Disney+ is offering customers the chance to access its packed TV and film library for £1.99 a month – the lowest price among any of the major streamers.
With this, telly fans can join the Disney+ Standard with Ads plan and lock in the £1.99 a month rate for three months. The offer is available for new and returning customers, letting them stream the biggest new films and shows in full HD 1080p on two devices simultaneously for the equivalent of 50p a week.
After the three-month promotional period, the plan will auto-renew at the then-current monthly retail price – currently £4.99 – but at this point, members are free to cancel. The deal comes just in time for the streamer’s blockbuster Autumn slate, which is led by the latest instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Agatha All Along, premiering September 19.

The £1.99 deal lets Disney+ members stream the new fourth season of hit murder-mystery Only Murders in the Building and David Tennant’s steamy drama, Rivals (October 18). There’s also a raft of upcoming documentaries including After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun (September 18) and Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (October 25).
Disney+ has brought back its popular deal that lets new and returning customers join its Standard with Ads plan for £1.99 a month for three months.
This means members can stream hit shows like Only Murders in the Building, The Bear and Shōgun, plus countless titles from Star Wars and Marvel, for a fraction of the usual price.
If fashion is more your thing, Friday (September 13) sees the launch of In Vogue: The 90s, an all-new six-part doc exploring fashion in the 1990s with insight from huge names including Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Disney+ is also home to countless films and shows from Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar, plus bingeable box-sets like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives.
It’s not all TV though, as Disney+ is home to epic films like Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and Taylor Swift’s concert film The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), with more on the way including Inside Out 2 and Kinds of Kindness, the latest flick from Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos. The £1.99 deal is ideal for catching up on any must-see titles you may have missed over the past few months like Emmy-winning dramedy The Bear, hit samurai saga Shōgun, and Ryan Reynolds’ Welcome to Wrexham.
Outside of the new deal, there’s a way to bag an even bigger saving for members opting to pay for a year up front, as Disney+ offers 12 months for the price of 10 on the Standard or Premium plans. A 12-month subscription to the Premium plan now costs £109.90 – saving £21.98 compared to paying monthly – and includes higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR, plus the ability to stream on four devices simultaneously
Elsewhere, Sky is offering something for nothing as it brings back the popular Sky Stream and Netflix free trial. Usually £31, this deal includes free access to both platforms for a month, offering hit shows like House of the Dragon and upcoming The Batman spin-off, The Penguin, absolutely free with the Sky Stream box, which allows viewers to watch TV via WiFi rather than a traditional satellite dish or aerial.
