Design creator Charlotte Cannon has collaborated with Dunelm to create some brand new spring furniture – including her favourite item, a ‘perfect and snug’ sofa bed
As the season for a good old Spring clean approaches, folks are on the lookout for nifty ways to spruce up their guest rooms. Dunelm has just the ticket, showcasing a clever solution to refresh your space.
Charlotte Cannon (@homeofcharl), a design guru, has teamed up with Dunelm to unveil a fresh line of spring furniture. She’s even picked out her top choice from Dunelm’s range of sofa beds and shared it on Instagram, demonstrating how versatile a sofa bed can be for those rarely used rooms, reports Essex Live.

On Instagram, Charlotte enthused: “Do you also have a room that’s only used a handful of times a year? I’ve swapped out a bed for the gorgeous Beatrice Sofa Bed paired with pieces from my Spring Edit to give the space a new lease of life and make the room multi-purpose for daily use.”
She continued, “My Spring Edit celebrates the must-have Spring 25 colour palette of pink and green (my favourite colour combination! ). Let me know what your favourite piece from my Edit is.”
Retailing at £599, the Beatrice Sofa Bed from Dunelm isn’t just a pretty face; it’s said to be both comfy and chic. Dunelm describes the sofa bed as: “This snuggle sofa bed offers a perfect blend of style, comfort, and practicality.”
They add: “Upholstered in soft, woven fabric with a timeless stripe pattern, it adds a touch of sophistication to any space. Designed for versatility, this compact piece functions as a cosy sofa ideal for relaxing and easily transforms into a convenient bed for overnight guests. Its sturdy frame ensures durability, while the supportive mattress guarantees a restful sleep.”
Dunelm’s latest sofa bed has been receiving rave reviews from shoppers, with @heatherscolourful gushing on Instagram: “That’s a really good idea. It’s absolutely beautiful!” and @at_the_mcgillens chiming in with: “Oh so clever!”
One happy customer, Nicky, left a glowing review on Dunelm’s website, saying: “I was a bit unsure if this would be as comfy as it looks but I just love it. We’ve not pulled the bed out yet but as a chair it’s perfect for our snug. I cant wait to curl up and read a book.”
For those looking to jump on the sofa bed bandwagon but aren’t keen on stripes, Dunelm offers an alternative with their Claude Soft Tonal Chenille 3 Seater Sofa Bed. And for those who fancy a pop of colour and need more sleeping space, Dunelm’s Barker Flatweave Trundle Corner Chaise Sofa Bed could be the answer.
