This follows Bear’s honest revelation about stepping out of his comfort zone while filming the series. Ahead of the new show, Bear appeared on BBC The One Show and host Roman Kemp couldn’t help but quiz the star on his fears while filming. He asked: “You come across so fearless. You’re pushing people out of their comfort zone so what is out of comfort zone for you?”
Bear admitted: “Lots of things. I actually really get nervous filming. Ireally don’t like the camera and from really early on in the TV shows we started making. When I first started it was like you were trying to get away from the camera because I was always behind it, on the move and running.”
He continued: “No one is ever saying action and there is never a second take of anything. They just turn the camera on and they know I find it really hard but as long as I don’t really know and we are just doing it, it’s OK.”
Opening up more, he explained: “I find lots of things hard and life generally is scary but I have learnt the way to deal with the scary stuff is not to run from it, you’ve just got to face it.
“The more you do it, it becomes like a muscle inside and then you get better at it and I think it’s a comfort zone you have to get out of it fast and keep challenging.”
