The ‘lush’ items would be a ‘beautiful’ addition to your outdoor space and have quickly sold out online, so checking local stores is your only option for now
Home Bargains has introduced new garden items to shelves, and shoppers have gone wild for them. Despite it only being February, people are loving the ‘cute’ garden must-haves ahead of spring.
The Jardin Artificial Grass range now offers topiary-style garden ornaments shaped like adorable animals – including a teddy bear and a puppy. They cost £19.99 each, which is a huge bargain considering that similar styles sell for nearly £70 online.
Online, they’re both described as a “cute and easy way to add some fun to your outdoor space.” Each animal measures 45cm tall and is made from weather and UV-resistant materials, meaning it’ll likely withstand whatever the British weather has to throw at it.
At the time of writing, the products are sold out on the Home Bargains website. This means you’ll have to take your chances in-store and see if any are left on the shelves.
They were recently shared online by a savvy shopper on Instagram, which was met with immense reaction. The user (@Homewithmrsk) said: “How cute are these artificial grass bears and dogs!”
She showed how big they were and scanned her camera along the full-looking shelf in her local Home Bargains. They can be found in the seasonal and gardening aisle.
Fans flocked to the comments section – especially after the official Home Bargains account had shared her video with their 1.1 million followers. One said: “How cute would these look in between some flowers?!”
Another added: “OH MY GOD! I need one!” A third commented: “Don’t tempt me back into that shop I pretty much live there!” Someone else shared: “The dog one is so cute. I have a feeling these are going to sell out fast!”
A fifth wrote: “Hopefully they do some more animals soon. I’d really love a little kitty one of these!” Lorna asked: “Cute but what do you do with them?” @Homewithmrsk replied: “I think they are for your garden as a feature, they are beautiful.”
Home Bargains recently hit the headlines with a stunning alternative to designer artwork. Instead of paying nearly £970 for a Studio McGee painting, fans of the discount store highlighted something on offer for just £13.
On Instagram, interiors blogger Sophie Higgs – who goes by the username Home_by_the_cloud – uploaded a video of the “absolute bargain” to her 376k followers. She hung the piece up just above her bed, and branded it as “the bargain of the year” so far.
You can browse new and trending products on the Home Bargains website. Some items are available for home delivery, but most will need to be looked for in-store.
