Hulk Hogan’s friends and family gathered earlier this week for his funeral, just days after the WWE legend died, having suffered a heart attack after a battle with leukaemia
Hulk Hogan was spotted watching his own funeral after a friend noticed a chilling sign. On Tuesday, friends and family gathered for the funeral of the WWE legend, who died aged 71 at the end of last month.
The wrestler, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, had suffered a heart attack at home after doing therapy. He was taken to Morton Plant Hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead. Bollea’s official cause of death was listed as acute myocardial infarction.
His medical records also revealed that he had secretly been battling chronic lymphocytic leukaemia as well as atrial fibrillation. But as Hulk’s funeral came to an end, an old pal revealed that he spotted the late wrestler watching on.

It’s believed that his funeral took place at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida, just seven miles south of Hogan’s home in Clearwater. Taking to Instagram, Jackass Bam Margera shared an eerie sign that the late wrestler had made his presence known at the event.
Margera spotted a sign in the clouds, which resembled an image of Hulk Hogan offering his signature pose, with one hand pointing to the air and a clenched fist behind him. Captioning his upload, Margera penned: “The cloud outside of Hulk Hogan’s funeral at Indian Rocks, Fl. Wow! You see what I see?? If this isn’t a sign then I don’t know what is.”
Despite the funeral being a private service, several famous faces were spotted amongst the mourners, including Triple H, his wife Stephanie McMahon, singer Kid Rock and comedian Theo Von. Linda Hogan, Hulk’s wife between 1983 and 2009, the mother of their daughter Brooke, was the only member of his family seen going in or out of the service.
Brooke, who had a feud with her father in the later years of his life, decided not to attend the funeral and instead, honoured her late father in her own way. The mum-of-two welcomed twins with NHL player Steven Oleksy took to Instagram to share her decision.
Writing alongside a snap of herself and her twins on a beach, Brooke said: “My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn’t want one. And although I know people grieve in many ways – and I’m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honour him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honour him the best and most genuine way I knew how…privately…the way that made me feel the closest to him.
“The only thing missing today was him in is pop up lawn chair watching the waves… and the sunset. Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved.
“Molly loved the water. I think she’ll be a “little fish” as you called me. We love you and honor the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy.”
Clearwater police department said officers and fire crews responded to a “medical-related call” shortly before 10am on Thursday 24 July. He died at 11.17am in the hospital, and there are “no signs of foul play or suspicious activity”, Major Nate Burnside said.
