Hull fire LIVE: Urgent warning to ‘close windows’ as enormous fire breaks out in city

Fire and rescue say incident is still ongoing

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has told The Mirror that the fire in Stoneferry is still being dealt with by fire crews.

“It’s an ongoing incident,” a spokesperson said. “We had seven appliances (fire engines) there, now there are just three.”

“Our aerial ladder platform is still up”, the spokeserson added. “There have been no injuries.”
