‘I got £3.30 Too Good To Go bag from Aldi and I was floored by what was inside’

By staff9 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

A woman has shared what was inside her Too Good To Go bag from Aldi – and has praised the budget supermarket for covering all the bases with the items they included

A couple have praised Aldi for exceeding their expectations with their budget-friendly Too Good To Go bag. Bargain hunter Becky, who is known on social media as @beckybazaar, has taken to TikTok to share what she picked up from the supermarket for just £3.30.

In her clip, she is seen walking into an Aldi store, showing a staff member her Too Good To Go app, and walking out with a big box of goods for a fraction of their shelf price. While it’s Too Good To Go’s aim to reduce food waste by selling off products nearing their sell-by date at discounted prices, Becky says some of her items have another 15 days until they reach their expiry date.

In her caption, she said: “Would you pay £3.30 for all of this? Some of it doesn’t even go out of date for another 15 days.”

Showing off her items, she shares how she was given watercress spinach and rocket, sweet and crunch salad, lean steak mince, coldwater prawns, and a deep filled steak pie.

Alongside this, she was given five yoghurts, a pack of immune-boosting yoghurts, a pack of apples, and a milk chocolate apple.

Commenting on her Too Good To Go bag, one user said: “That’s brilliant – the mince is about £5!”

Another user added: “Wow that’s fantastic. How do I go about getting one of them? How do you pay for it?”

A third user said: “The pie is £1.65 and mince is £4 so this is worth it, for sure.”

A final user said: “That’s good for what you paid.”

How to use Too Good To Go

To get your own Too Good To Go bag, download their app and scroll through the nearby stores participating in the scheme.

You can ‘reserve’ bags before collecting them to save disappointment when arriving at your chosen store.

All bags contain items that would have otherwise ended up in the bin due to their sell-by dates – with most costing around £2 to £5, depending on what store you select.

A statement from Too Good To Go reads: “Too Good To Go was founded in 2015 in Copenhagen by a group of young entrepreneurs who shared a dream of finding a solution for the massive amounts of food wasted by buffet restaurants in Denmark.

“Too Good To Go now operates in 19 countries across Europe, America and Asia Pacific and it has grown to a thriving community of 100 million registered users and 175,000 active partner businesses across the globe.

“But it all began with a small group of passionate believers who saw an opportunity to make a real difference in the world.

“Today, Too Good To Go has a portfolio of solutions to connect users and partners with food that would otherwise have gone to waste.”
