A thrifting fan who is always looking for the best ways to save money and repurpose her unwanted clothing recently revealed how she sold over 100 items on Vinted in one day
If your wardrobe is bursting at the seams with unworn clothes, it might be time for a clear-out – and selling online is a smart move. Many people turn to platforms like eBay, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, and Vinted to sell their pre-loved garments. Not only can you declutter, but your unwanted items can find a new home, and you could pocket some extra cash.
Recently, one woman managed to shift over 100 items in a single day, raking in nearly £600. She shared her secrets on how she did it and her top tips for quick sales.
Meet Caroline, a thrifting enthusiast who confesses to being charity shop obsessed, always on the hunt for the best ways to save money and repurpose her unwanted clothing.
Caroline hosted a Vinted sale on her page and managed to make over £590. She printed off all the labels for her items and sorted them into those going to InPost lockers and those being posted via Evri or Royal Mail.
She dispatched all the parcels in one day, selling most items for under £10.

The savvy seller, who shares her tips on her Instagram page @caroline.shops, always includes a thank you note and a little extra surprise inside, such as an eye mask.
She double bags her items to ensure they are secure. According to Caroline, it’s these personal touches that can really help you build a good reputation on Vinted, leading to five-star reviews and consequently attracting more buyers to your items.
Offering further guidance, she advised: “Take good well-lit photos. This includes all sides of the items and the labels. Show yourself in the clothing if possible.
“Not measurements in the description. All these things help the buyer decide to buy.”
She also suggests if you’re short on time to upload over 100 items onto Vinted, tools like Chat GPT can assist in writing descriptions quickly.
