‘I spent £38,000 on Turkey surgery and couldn’t sit down for months’

Alanna Pow has spent £38,000 on different cosmetic surgery procedures and is set to undergo her third BBL after claiming a surgeon in Turkey botched her previous one

A model who spent £38,000 on surgery, and whose recovery was so rough that she couldn’t sit down for months, says she “isn’t done yet”.

Ex-flight attendant Alanna Pow had to lie on her stomach for weeks on end after going under the knife to get a BBL. She flew more than 6,400 miles to get the work done at a more affordable price in Turkey – alongside a free nose job.

The 22-year-old says no effort is too great to get the look she desires, and she’s already planning her next move – a third BBL next month. “The recovery from my surgeries was awful,” said Alanna, who has three million followers across social media @alannasworldx.

“When I had the first one, I was still a flight attendant and I went back to work quickly so I had to walk up and down the whole flight. During take-off, I sat on my BBL cushion and the pain was excruciating.

“I also had to wear a compression garment for six weeks underneath my uniform. And I had to lay on my front for six weeks because I couldn’t sit down. I already have big boobs so I just wanted to be more proportioned.”

Alanna, who is from Australia but lives in Bali, claims to earn £110,000 a month selling racy content online.

She had her first BBL last year, which set her back £9,300, and once again in 2025 for the same cost – with the rhinoplasty thrown in for free by her surgeon in Turkey.

Alanna is undergoing the third surgery to fix the “botched” first two attempts to give her a large bottom. She said: “I wouldn’t recommend Turkey – I feel like I’ve been botched.

“My legs are misshapen. The first doctor in Turkey took way too much fat from my lower thighs and left them looking wavy. I’ve been insecure about them ever since.

“My legs are the only area he really botched, the rest of my body wasn’t done badly, but I don’t think he did enough lipo overall. The nose came out perfectly, though.

“I just wanted a tiny tweak to give myself a ski slope and the recovery time was two weeks.”

Having learned her lesson, Alanna’s third butt lift will be performed by a surgeon in Australia, rather than Turkey, and will set her back a whopping £19,500. She’ll have fat removed from her chin, stomach, arms, back and legs, which will then be transferred to her bum.

The model said: “He’ll also put some fat back into my thighs to even them out and make them look normal again.

“I’d like to lose weight but I don’t want to try weight loss jabs because I don’t want my boobs to shrink – they are my money-makers. My male fans love real breasts.

“But my butt is naturally flat so I am getting surgical intervention. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

“I look in the mirror every single day and I love my body, but if I want to make changes, that’s my choice – and I’ll keep going until I get it right. I’m so excited for my third BBL. The first two were just learning lessons for me.”

Alanna initially decided to go to Turkey after seeing an influencer on social media go to the same surgeon.

She added: “I messaged the doctor and within a month I was booked in. It’s ridiculously easy to get a surgery slot, which feels crazy to me now.

“In Australia, I had to wait months for a consultation. They ask you so many mental health questions. You have to have a week cooling off period before deciding if you want to go ahead with the surgery. There are so many more hoops to jump through.”
