A woman has shared the sweet moment she told her mum she had become a millionaire after securing the seven-figure windfall on television. Sienna McSwiggan made her money after appearing as a contestant on ITV’s Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday (October 11) to bag the biggest prize in British quiz-show history.

As well as the cash, Sienna also scooped two cars, two luxury holidays, a trip to Australia to see The Ashes and tickets to see Take That in concert. “Nothing like this ever happens to us… for everything she’s done for me, I did this for her,” she explained on TikTok alongside footage of herself breaking the news to her parent.

Sienna, 20, from Halesowen in the West Midlands, added: “Telling my mum who has gone through so much that I’ve won a million pounds on a TV show is the best feeling in the entire world.”

The clip saw mum, Lisa open her front door to Sienna who simply told her: “I’ve won. I’m a millionaire.”

After a moment of disbelief, Lisa and another family member joined in with Sienna and screaming and jumping for joy. Sienna and Lisa then shared a sweet embrace as the latter asked: “Are you alright? I’ve been worried about you so much. I can’t believe it!”

More than two million TikTok users have watched the clip, one of whom gushed: “Congratulations enjoy life a little more… but these moments with you family are worth billions.”

A second person added: “Take her to get her hair nails etc done and pamper her. Mums run the world.”

A third penned: “If I ever won that much money my parents would never have to worry about anything anymore the first people I’d help.”

Whilst a fourth TikTok user praised: “So it really does happen to everyday normal people. Well done enjoy and you and your family absolutely deserve this. We all live in hope that’s all we can do, keep on hoping.”

The interactive quiz show, hosted by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, saw players given the chance to trade a prize for a place on the grand final’s Millionaire’s Row over the course of the past five weeks.

In a previous appearance on the show last month, Sienna turned down the chance to walk away with a holiday in the Maldives in order to gamble for the jackpot – and it paid off as she saw off competition from 18 other finalists.

After emerging victorious, she told Mel and Sue: “I’ve literally got a penny in my account. I’m over the moon. It doesn’t feel real. It feels like I’m in a dream and someone’s gonna wake me up in a minute.

“Life is really hard at the moment. The cost of living… It is a struggle. I’ve not grown up with privileges. At my age, it’s so hard to decide what you want do in life. It’s difficult to even get on the property ladder. I don’t have any savings. I have no idea about how the hell I’m gonna buy a house. This will help so much.”
