Lookfantastic’s March Box is packed with six beauty products that’ll give your skin a nourishing boost and healthy glow. Here are Beauty writer Eve Rowlands’ top picks
The sunshine last week has made us all super excited for spring. And with that in mind, I for one am looking forward to sunnier days where the only thing I’ll be needing on my face is some moisturiser, sun cream (of course) and blush, plus a bit of lippy to help me feel good.
Lookfantastic’s latest subscription March beauty box has launched and inside are some lovely products that’ll help with this light but lovely beauty routine. Costing £15 for a one-off purchase or £13 a month if you want to sign up for a 12-month subscription (receiving the box every month), the March Box edit contains six different mostly travel-sized products to help you discover new obsessions or restock some firm faves.
This rivals Glossybox’s beauty box subscription which offers five products – a mix of full and deluxe sizes – at £13.50 for a one off buy. Lookfantastic’s March box is brimming with some gorgeous skincare and hair products that, after testing them out, have left my locks looking and smelling luscious and my skin glowy and fresh. While I loved all the contents of the box, I thought I’d share my top products.

Described as delivering a ‘spring’ to your step this month, the box this March is worth over £80 and contains big names like Emma Hardie, ESPA, Forea, Dr. Lipp and one brand I’ve wanted to try for a while, Rodial. A brand reportedly loved by the Princess of Wales, the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Sculpting gel costs £27 for a mini (£7 more than the actual box) or £95 for a full 50ml tub, but is loved for its ability to hydrate, plump and firm your complexion.
A description on the website reads: “Known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties, dragon’s blood hydrates and soothes skin, while a blend of actives including Collageneer®, Volufiline™ and glycerin boost elasticity and collagen production, firmness and moisture levels for your healthiest complexion ever.”
With uses as a moisturiser or serum, I’ve been using it as the former, and while I’ve not yet noticed any major changes in my skin looks wise, it definitely feels tighter upon application and throughout the day. It also smells delightful – fruity and fresh.
Another product I really liked for leaving my skin feeling hydrated, looking luminous and smelling amazing is the Emma Hardie Midas Touch Revitalising Cream (worth a whopping £34). It absorbed nicely into my skin, not disappearing completely but leaving it hydrated and nourished thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid Filling Spheres in the formula.
It’s lightweight so didn’t leave my forehead looking oily, and its scent I can only compare to that of Elemis. A herby, essential oil scent thanks to its natural oils of moringa, evening primrose and rosehip.
Again, I’ve not been using it long enough to see if my faint elevens lines and crow’s feet have faded, but it certainly leaves my skin feeling nice. My favourite product in the pack may be a surprising one and is perhaps the smallest: the Dr.Lipp 100% Natural Moisturising Colour Lip Tint, which despite the name is a multi-tasking item that intensely moisturises your lips and can be used as a blush and glossy eyeshadow too.
Costing £5.59 on sale at Lookfantastic, it’s perhaps one of its cheapest products but I love the hydration it gives my lips (for hours) – and the subtle pink tinge. Also, how dewy it leaves my cheeks when applied as blush.
It’s easy to blend out with a finger and leaves you with a shimmering lift that adds a fresh flush. I can see this being a go-to multi-use product for holidays when all you want is a subtle tint on your lips and cheeks to boost your natural tan.
I haven’t yet used it on my eyelids as an eyeshadow as I have sensitive eyes. I don’t know how I feel about putting a balm there, but I’m sure it’s a triple-whammy product to have in your beauty arsenal for those who don’t mind this texture.
As for the ESPA shampoo, I’ve used this jasmine and bergamot range before and the smell is divine and totally spa like but I wouldn’t say it was life-changing for my hair. While I’m yet to try the FOREO face mask, worth £6, the £4 Brushworks Back Comb Brush is most likely to be used in future for helping me slick back my baby hairs when I’m styling a bun or ponytail (ballerina style). Backcombing on my curls would most likely end in tears and most probably a broken brush (from experience).
If you’re after more of a one off haul, Lookfantastic has just launched its Beauty Easter Egg for 2025, meanwhile Cult Beauty’s X Hush edit, worth over £145, is £42 and contains some products by Charlotte Tilbury, By Terry, Saie, Nars and more.
