One influencer has shared his view after visiting the ‘biggest M&S in the world’. Popular and trusted food reviewer Carmie Selitto, who boats over one million TikTok followers, went to check it out following its opening in late August
A brand new M&S has opened it’s doors and it is now “the largest in the world “. While most of us try to budget when it comes to our food shop, every now and then it is nice to indulge in a special dinner or lunchtime snack. M&S is always a popular choice for such occasion, especially as we head into the festive season later this year. And now, people are rushing to the brands newly transformed Pantheon foodhall in the heart of Oxford Street.
Located on the lower ground floor of the store, the new foodhall has a range of exciting new features for customers to try, from a hot chicken counter to a shiny pizza bar. It is also home to a coffee shop.
Popular and trusted food reviewer Carmie Selitto, who boats over one million TikTok followers, went to check it out following its opening in late August.
Carmie said: “You won’t believe what’s inside. This was so big it didn’t even feel real.”
“You could easily get lost, he added.

Showing off the inside of the store, Carmie said it is so big that he thinks it would take a full hour to walk around the entire foodhall.
Firstly, he went to the café – and noticed there was a selection of food options that he had “never seen before”. He also noticed a whole section just for organic food. Plus, Carmie was impressed by the large display of baked goods and the sushi section.
“Because this M&S is the biggest in the world, they have a bunch of exclusive products that they don’t have in any other stores, that’s why I came here.”
Walking further along, Carmie could not believe his eyes when he saw the pizza bar. The food reviewer said: “I was so shocked to see that they were making pizzas right in front of you. Like what do you mean? I can create my own pizza.”
Summarising his experience, Carmie said: “Even though this place was overwhelming, I actually need to come here every day.”
“I spend a fortune in our little M&S, this could bankrupt me,” commented one. Another said: “Oh my life, I’d be bankrupt.”
“Take my money,” said one other.
One described it as “like Harrods but for normal people”.
“The foodhall is so nice, looking forward to seeing the rest of the refurb,” added another.
But people issued a warning to customers before they shop. One pointed out: “If it’s on Oxford Street, I always wonder how people actually manage to go in and do a decent shop in there considering there’s only so much you can carry in a carrier bag back to a tube or bus.”
One shared their experience, adding: “This was literally me last Thursday after I finished work. Wanted to buy more than I could actually travel home with.”
Another, who admitted it’s hard to resist picking up a lot of items in the refurbished foodhall, said: “That’s my problem every time. I love that branch but I break my back every time not being able to carry all the stuff I want.”
Store Manager Stevie Foley said of the foodhall reveal: “The reveal has been absolutely fantastic and the energy from customers and colleagues just brilliant!
“The before and after couldn’t be more different and we can now confidently say we’re offering customers the very best of M&S Food. There are so many new things in-store to explore, so make sure to come visit us here on Oxford Street.”
