Coleen Rooney wasted no time getting her fitness routine back on track after her stint on I’m A Celeb, which saw her come runner up to Danny Jones
Coleen Rooney has been spotted hitting the gym just days after returning to the UK following her star stint on I’m A Celebrity.
The 38-year-old came second on the ITV show, just missing out on the top spot to McFly star and The Voice UK judge Danny Jones. But though the mum-of-four looked in great shape in the jungle, she wasted no time getting back into her fitness routine.
Perhaps Coleen doesn’t want to let standards slip as she’s already signed a big money deal to become the face of wellness brand Applied Nutrition. Their collagen capsules – which Coleen brought in as a luxury item – are credited with keeping her hair, skin and nails looking glowing Down Under.
And it’s rumoured Coleen is set to branch out on her own and launch her very own product line with the brand in January – a move experts believe could greatly boost her earnings.
Fitness conscious Coleen was pictured on her way to a class at her local gym in posh Alderley Edge in Cheshire, known for being home to many a footballer including her and husband Wayne Rooney.
Wearing navy gym leggings and a matching top which she teamed with white socks and trainers, Coleen covered up from the cold in a chic full length grey wool coat that made her look effortlessly stylish.
In a look she often rocked in camp, she had her long brown hair scraped back in a ponytail and accessorised with understated gold earrings and a matching necklace.
But though she’s now back in the UK, it’s thought she is yet to reunite with husband Wayne, who has been cheering her on from afar while managing his football team in Plymouth.
Hinting a lot more is to come following her jungle stint, Coleen took to Instagram to post a rare video message to her now 1.4 million followers. She said: “Hi everyone, hope you’re ok. I’m back in the UK. I’m a bit jet lagged.
“The kids are in school and I just wanted to come on and say wow wow wow, I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity and positivity that you’ve all shown while I was in the jungle and since I’ve come out.
“I can’t thank you enough for your messages, your comments and I am just so glad that you all enjoyed the show this year. Thank you to every single one of you that voted for me and kept me in until the end, because I got the full jungle experience. I can’t thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it.”
She continued: “Don’t get me wrong, it was hard. It was really hard. But with your love and support and the love and support of my 11 campmates love and support and friendship, you all got me through it and I am so grateful for that. What a year to be involved in I’m A Celeb, what a camp. We are friends for life. Our group chat that we have created has not stopped, we’ve all been on this morning saying how jetlagged we are and me and Alan have been on the school run.
“Some of us our watching trials back and it’s been a joy to be a part of. We are going to enjoy Christmas and I hope you all enjoy Christmas. Then in the New Year we’re going to get together and have a reunion. What I’ve loved is that everyone watched it as a family and it brought love and laughter and tears into households, everyone experienced it together and we experienced it together as a camp.”
Coleen ended the message by saying: “But I just needed to come on, I need to get used to doing these videos – I actually feel like I’m sitting in the BT (Bush Telegraph). But yeah I just love you all. And I can’t thank you enough/Happy Christmas and I’ll be back on here really soon.”
