The rise in technology has made it even easier for people to cheat – and one private investigator has shared there is one innocent app used by adulteres to do the dirty
A private investigator has revealed just how cheaters operate and how ‘easy’ it can be to be unfaithful to a partner. Infidelity is something no one wants to experience, but sadly it’s something that can happen and it appears technology has made it easier than ever.
Now according to an expert, adulterers are hiding their infidelity in plain sight and it’s all down to a seemingly innocent smartphone app.
According to Paul Evans from I-Spy Detectives, he’s seen a rise in people using shared calendar apps to plan their secret meet-ups, making it easier than ever to hide it from their partners.

“On the surface, it looks like a harmless dentist appointment or a work meeting, but when you dig deeper, those calendar entries are often a cover for something else. We’ve uncovered cases where the same slot is used every week, always in a different location, and never with a trace of genuine work behind it,” Evans told the Metro.
He says he’s exposed cheaters who have gone as far as to create ‘secret codes’ detailing where they will meet – such as a team lunch or a client call. While text messages are usually the first place a suspicious partner will look, Evans said they are easily deleted, while calendar apps are more innocuous.

They allow communication to be hidden, shared privately or can be even sent to burner email accounts all while remaining unsuspicious, but it’s where a lot of deception happens. Evans said these apps can sit there for months “without raising suspicion” even if the partner never checks, as they won’t “think twice” about a ‘work related’ notification.
So for those who may be suspicious, the expert said: “If your partner always seems to be ‘working late’ on Tuesdays, but there are no calls, no emails, and no explanation, it’s worth questioning. Patterns are the biggest giveaway. You don’t have to go snooping, but you can start by asking direct questions. Most affairs unravel when people spot the little inconsistencies.”
He also advised to look out for “out of character” behaviour such as suddenly becoming protective over their phones, or their schedules don’t start to add up.
