Former Love Island star George Fensom was embroiled in a dramatic feud with a social media influencer at a recent event, during which the pair clashed and pushed one another
Love Island’s George Fensom found himself involved in a tense feud with an online star.
On Thursday, reality stars and influencers attended an event hosted by the clothing brand White Fox in London. But while attendees including former Love Island contestants mingled with one another, two appeared to come to blows.
Former star George Fensom, 26, entered the villa in 2023 as one of the original Islanders. However, he was sent home just five days later. During the lavish event, George appeared to clash with social media star Sam Goatlifters during a tense encounter. In a video seen by the Mirror, George can be seen placing his hand on Sam’s chest, before the influencer pushes George back as George appears to make a gesture with his hands. The pair continue to engage in a heated discussion before Sam eventually laughs and walks away from Fensom.
Reflecting on the event during a chat with the Mirror, Sam commented: “I went to the White Fox event for the same reason as everyone was going to network and have a fun time. I was going around saying ‘Hi’ to everyone but one person in particular, George gave me such a built response to me introducing myself to him and turned his back to me instantly, after that I walked off and continued with my night with my group of friends and girlfriend I had arrived with.”
Sam, who has 166,000 followers on Instagram went on to add: “Later that night I noticed he was staring at me constantly and I would continue to lock eyes with him out of nowhere so I decided to talk to him again and asked if everything was sweet. He started the conversation off bluntly again.”
“To be honest I can’t remember the exact conversation exchanged other than him calling me a clout chaser,” he said, adding: “I said drop the ego – you got knocked out by HS [Tikky Tokky] three times. George was previously in the Misfits boxing ring with HS Tikky Tokky – but the fight was called off after 79 seconds after HS floored Fensom on three occasions.
Speaking to the Mirror about the incident, George said: “I was at the Future Is White Fox event and I was networking and meeting up with friends, and me and Sam had not spoken at this point, and he came over to me basically saying, how I fumbled on Misfits [Boxing] and that I wouldn’t last two seconds in the ring with him.
“It went back and forth I was giving it back to him but he was pushing me gently to get under my skin, I think all in all he just wants a shot on misfits and is using me as a way to get there as an easy target, however, I am in training now, new coach and time to learn how to box. So if he wants it in the new year, we will see what happens. But for now, he can try and get clout elsewhere.”
