A vet has delighted animal lovers after revealing the funniest pet names he’s heard on the job. Amir Anwary, who posts on TikTok as @amirthevet, often shares tips and tricks for pet owners.

In a recent video, he took a different approach, instead sharing the unique names he’s encountered, and some are so good they could leave you crying with laughter. Introducing the video to his 800,000 followers, Amir captioned his post: “Weirdest and best pet names I’ve heard as a veterinarian in my six years.”

He then re-enacted some of his most memorable interactions, and it’s easy to see why the names stood out. Amir said: “Okay, we’re ready for our next patient. Can we get Paw McCartney? That’s good. That’s good. Okay, next we have Princess Fluffer-Nutter the Third.”

Another standout was the name Fart Face, which belonged to a family pet named by children. Amir continued: “And finally, can we get Sir Sniffalot of the house Humpington?”

The video proved very popular, earning over 130,000 views and prompting the vet to share a follow-up post. In part two, Amir shared more memorable monikers. He said: “Hey guys, our first patient of the day is a Pitbull named Brad Pitbull. Okay, and next is Countess Lady Duchess Baroness McFlufferton von Tail Wagger.”

One response said: “I’m a vet assistant and at the clinic I work at, we have a patient that is LITERALLY named Ozzy Pawsborne the Prince of Barkness.” A second commenter shared: “I once heard someone named their tortoise lord voldetort.”

A third viewer wrote: “My great dane is Pixie.” A fourth claimed: “My neighbour called her cat dobby dumblepaws.” A fifth replied: “Brother and sister dachshunds….Denice and Denephew…” A sixth added: “We have a Sir bear of bearington square.”
