‘I’ve found a way to get my go-to Stanley Quencher water bottle for £16’

By staff25 July 2025No Comments4 Mins Read

The Stanley Quencher tumbler has built up a loyal fan base and I can see why – I use mine everyday and here’s how shoppers can get one for less than £20

I’ve owned my Stanley Quencher cup for around two years and it was truly love at first sip. It’s been my daily companion ever since and I find myself using it near enough every single day. First getting my hands on it to increase my water intake as I realised I wasn’t hydrating myself enough, I now drink at least 2.5 litres of water a day.

For those unfamiliar with the Stanley Quencher cup, it’s essentially a reusable water bottle that can hold more than a standard size bottle. This capacity reduces the frequency of refills and aids in boosting your hydration levels. Plus, it keeps your beverage frosty cold for 48 hours, a feature I appreciate even during the chillier months.

The Stanley Quencher cup has repeatedly sold out since its UK launch, but it’s not the most budget-friendly option on the market, with the 0.8 litre size retailing for £40. Stanley’s website rarely offers discounts, however, that doesn’t mean there aren’t clever ways to snag a deal on this popular brand. I’ve discovered a bargain that lets you get your hands on the Stanley Quencher for just over £16.

Customers who purchase the Stanley Quencher from Urban Outfitters via TopCashback will receive £15 cashback and as it is on sale for £32, this reduces the total cost to £16.16 for new Urban Outfitters customers or £16.58 for existing ones. The process to claim is straightforward – new members can register on TopCashback using this link, make their Stanley Quencher purchase at Urban Outfitters, and then wait for the cashback to be tracked and added to their account.

The primary function of the cup is to encourage users to drink more water with minimal effort – and it certainly achieved this for me. On the first day, I found myself sipping from the bottle while engaged in everyday activities like working on my laptop or watching TV, without even realising it.

The water bottle holds 0.8 litres.

I believe this is largely due to the straw, which makes drinking effortless. My beverage stayed refreshingly cold all day after filling the cup with ice, and when left on my bedside table overnight, it was still cool by morning. I noticed that smaller ice cubes did melt after a few hours, but switching to larger cubes ensured they retained their shape for a significantly longer period.

There’s no denying it, this cup is pretty large and while the ergonomic handle with comfort-grip inserts does make it comfortable to hold, its size makes it quite heavy to carry around when full. It’s not particularly practical for commuting as it takes up a fair bit of space in your bag, but when working from home, the large capacity is a real bonus.

Another reusable water bottle capable of holding 1L of liquid is the £45 Ocean Bottle. It’s available in 14 stylish colours and can be personalised with your own text for an extra £10. It’s also eco-friendly as for every bottle produced, 1,000 plastic bottles are prevented from entering the ocean. You can also find reusable water bottles on Amazon – the iglu water bottle has a 1L capacity and costs £28.

For a Stanley Cup that’s easier to sip on the move, consider the Stanley IceFlow Bottle. It holds less water (710ml), but its leak-proof design and easy-to-hold handle make it ideal for travel. Throughout July, shoppers can also get the bottle personalised with initials, a logo or a graphic, for free on the Stanley website.

Elsewhere at Stanley, the brand has recently launched a collaboration with Messi. Following the success of the footballers first collection with Stanley, some water bottles have already sold-out, however, the limited edition Messi x Stanley Quencher is currently still available.
