The ex of former TOWIE star James Argent has shared a powerful message as she moves on from his assault on her. The reality TV star, 37, was arrested for domestic violence when he shoved his girlfriend down a flight of stairs in Spain.
He had left his former Miss Sweden partner Nicoline Artursson ‘bloodied and bruised’ after pushing her down concrete stairs at a house they were sharing when a row turned violent. And he received a suspended sentence for his actions after striking a plea deal and admitting to a lesser crime of “mistreatment”.
Now, Nicoline has taken to social media with a defiant message as she showed off a positive vibe. She urged her followers to make sure they “partner with the right power”.
In the upload, the former beauty model was seen smiling as she stood in the snow wearing tight red leggings and a matching puffer jacket.
She went on in the caption: “Surround yourself with ONLY people who shares the motto of wanting to be their best extraordinary self with you and others.”
“In the mist of a set-back there is a comeback laying ahead of you I’m so blessed and privileged to be learning from our dear family friend @timstoreyofficial. I thank each and every one of you for all your supportive kindness & love you’ve been showing me – It means more than you’ll ever know! I appreciate you all so much.”
Nicoline explained how you will have your focus tested as you go through hardships. “Where you re-direct your mindset will be crucial,” she continued.
“This does not mean to supress any emotions or feelings – It means to go through them fully no matter how hard it is. The power of humanity is that we cheer each other on when good things are happening and we help each other out when life take you rock bottom. So let’s come together!
“Surround yourself with pure and warmhearted people who will be there with you and let them know they matter to you.”
And she admitted she feels “so passionate” about helping others who are going through any hurdles as she wants to show life has a plan for you. “Remember, we stand strongest together,” she signed off before using a number of telling hashtags.
Among the final tags were: “#NoMoreSilence,” “#WomensVoicesMatter” and “EmotionalAbuseRecovery”. She also tagged a phrase to make sure people know they are not alone.
The comments come after he admitted the offence against and was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. Nicoline recently opened up about the incident with her ex in a social media post.
In it, she said she “still couldn’t believe it” before adding that she was still “wounded inside”.
