After 14 months of renovating, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s dream £12million home is finally ready just in time for the pair to become parents
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have showed off their luxurious new London home as they get ready to become parents for the first time. Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie, 36, and his wife, 30, have bought the lavish property, thought to be worth in the region of £12million.
And Jamie took to social media to give fans a glimpse into their new abode. The Candy Kittens founder took his Instagram followers on a tour of the property, which includes a stunning open plan kitchen space. The open area also includes a spacious dining area and living space.
Jamie told his followers how the renovation of the property took the couple 14 months. It was the first home they bought together. He also joked they had “10,000 arguments and nearly divorced” in that time frame.

Showing off the dramatic transformation, the camera follows a proud-looking Jamie as he opens the fridge before making his way over to the settee.
In his caption, he paid “big thank yous” to a number of companies that helped with the design around the home. He also thanked a construction company who he joked helped the couple not get a divorce.
Elsewhere, he praised his new speaker system, saying he will now be able to listen to Cyndi Lauper in the shower.
His followers were quick to share praise with the reality TV star on the new home. One user gushed: “This looks so incredible,” and included a clapping hands emoji.
Another added: “Now they have incredible taste!! ….this just encompasses everything about how the ideal home should be.. Spacious – whilst maintaining a ‘cosy’ feel. It’s airy, light, neutral/tasteful colour palette. Modern, contemporary- without it appearing clinical!!! ……You two have nailed it.”
Jamie’s update comes after he sat down with former best pal Spencer Matthews to clear the air. The once close-knit pair drifted as Jamie and Sophie tied the knot without sending Spencer an invite to the special day.
Jamie and Spencer’s friendship began as teenagers at school before they became breakout stars of Made in Chelsea. However, years later their bond slipped and the pair’s closeness disappeared.
When it came to Jamie snubbing his pal on the guest list for his big day, Spencer admitted the decision hurt him. Talking to his pal, he said: “”I remember how I found out about that. I was flying back from somewhere and someone showed me a Daily Mail article that literally showed me your London wedding celebrations, and loads of your friends there.
“I think we had had some conversation, and you were like, it’s not really a friends thing. It’s like a family small thing. And there were loads of friends there. And I can remember thinking, like, what have I? What have I done? Or, like, who? Like, what have I done to annoy him?
“Vogue was just a bit like, it’s pretty weird that you wouldn’t be invited to that, you know, and I just thought it is a real shame that I wasn’t invited to that. At first, I just brushed it off as, ‘Oh, it’s fine. It doesn’t matter’. But the more I thought about it, the more I probably felt that it did matter.”
