The Totally Tropical Jumpsuit comes in two lengths, petite and regular, and is available in sizes six to 18. The regular length has an approximate inseam measurement of 30”, whilst the petite version measures around 27”.
It’s made of a lightweight, breezy crepe fabric, and has a stretchy shirred bust that gives you plenty of movement. The shirring also makes it figure-fitting without feeling restricted or too clingy, and the elasticated shoulder straps add to its comfortable movement.
The wide flowing legs are also perfect for those ultra hot days to keep you comfortable. Although you could easily throw it on with a pair of slides over your swimsuit round the pool, you can also style it with sandals and a straw tote for during the day, or some heeled mules and statement jewellery for an evening out.
We found a similar silhouette with this Purple Floral Border Ruched Jumpsuit for £38 at Roman, which comes in sizes 10 to 20. For something a little more dressy, this Lipsy Green Floral Petite One Shoulder Ruffle Printed Coulotte Jumpsuit for £48, which has a gorgeous statement ruffle across the chest and an asymmetrical one shoulder design.
Bargain hunters can also snap up FatFace’s Tura Orange Paisley Jumpsuit for £40 down from £69 which comes in petite, regular and tall lengths. Its halterneck gives it a slightly more elegant look that’s perfect for evenings out, and has a subtle elasticated waistband to accentuate your figure.
Joe Browns shoppers however have been praising the Totally Tropical Jumpsuit, with one saying: “Lovely item, just my cup of tea, nice flowing material and pattern, and love the shirred top, so comfortable.”
The only really negative review mentioned: “Had to send it back. The fit was not great.”
Another wrote: “The jumpsuit was really nice and vibrant in colour, just as I hoped and expected. The material is lightweight, so ideal for summer and taking on holidays. The fringe at the top of the bodice on the item was rather long and flopped about turning over, which didn’t give a good show. I ordered 2 sizes and fortunately the one that fit me better had a slimmer fringe and stayed flatter. The fringe should be narrower and therefore would still have the nice effect, but wouldn’t turn inside out/flap over. Otherwise I’m very happy with the outfit.”
However others disagreed, saying: “A really good fit, I am a size 18 and was worried that it might not look good on a larger person. It looks gorgeous!”
