JoJo Siwa took to the stage at a London venue and began singing to her rumoured new beau Chris Hughes after the pair were spotted kissing earlier this month in Mexico
JoJo Siwa drove fans wild during a concert in London tonight, with the Celebrity Big Brother star serenading her new boyfriend Chris Hughes on stage. The pair seemingly confirmed their romance last week when they shared a kiss on holiday in Mexico.
Now, JoJo, 22, has continued to express her fond feelings for the ex Love Island star, 32, by singing to the star – and giving fans an update on her future plans. Taking to the stage at Colours Hoxton in London, JoJo announced: “I’m home everyone.” She later took to the stage in a Sunderland football top – a team supported by Chris – and said: “This is for somebody special who’s here tonight.
“Over the last few weeks since coming out of Big Brother, actually in Big Brother too, I’ve learned a lot about Sunderland. Are you guys Sunderland fans?” she added, with the crowd then booing her. “Christopher, you’re letting me get booed up here? You guys might not like it, but he does so let’s pretend.”
JoJo then began singing a cover of Kim Carnes’ Bette Davis Eyes, but changed the words to “Chris Hughes’ eyes” while smiling towards the back of the crowd where a beaming Chris was watching.
The pair struck up a close bond in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in April, with many fans speculating over whether they could be more than friends after watching them become tactile on the show. JoJo went onto split from her partner Kath Ebbs at the Celebrity Big Brother final’s afterparty, which Kath announced on social media the day after.
In recent weeks, Chris and JoJo spent the pop star’s birthday together in Mexico, with JoJo gushing about her new boyfriend in a social media post. “My heart is smiling so big with tears in my eyes,” she wrote alongside a complication video. “This birthday week is one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I can’t quite put it into words… the best I can say is it’s been the most magical week of my life, truly the way it feels.”
The pair were later spotted kissing in Mexico and after Chris returned to the UK, the couple reunited at Heathrow Airport this weekend, with Chris surprising JoJo with a bouquet of red roses.
