Jones Road fans ‘thrilled’ with £30 lipstick that comes in ‘cosy’ autumn shades

The Classic Lip comes in an impressive 12 shades from neutral to bold

Jones Road is helping shoppers updrade their look for autumn with a new lip product. The Classic Lip is said have a lightweight formula with a satin finish, and it includes a range of neutral and bold hues that shoppers are already loving.

The Jones Road lipstick is made with nourishing peptides and vitamin E to smooth and condition the lips. With 12 richly pigmented shades available – including five bold and seven nude hues – they perfectly match with the brand’s Lip Pencil, offering a shade for everyone to feel confident and beautiful, day or night.

Priced at £30, the Classic Lip is what founder Bobbi Brown calls ‘an ode to the timeless staple’. She also said: “The Classic Lip is the formula that made me fall in love with lipstick again.”

The formula is designed to be ‘non-drying’ and doesn’t feather, crease, or feel tight. Other than Jones Road, Gisou has launched three autumn-inspired honey infused lip oils in three shades: Sticky Toffee, Vanilla Glaze and Milky Mocha. Each of them retails at £24, but shoppers can save 10% in a trio set and get all three for £65.

While I haven’t had a chance to try the new Jones Road lipstick, my current go-to lip bullet is the Chantecaille Lip Crème in Moon Orchid (£48). It’s a rich mulberry shade that works perfectly for the autumn season. It glides on my lips effortlessly and fills in any lines, leaving a glossy sheen.

Back to the Jones Road Classic Lip, one shopper shared: “Not only is it comfortable, it’s extremely pigmented with just one swipe. The best satin lip out.”

A second shared her pick from the lineup: “Mauve is my go-to right now, perfect cosy fall vibe.” But one makeup fan was hoping to try a dark brown shade, adding: “My favourite lip colour is the original Brown by Bobbi Brown which they no longer make.”
