Is 2025 the year of strawberry fragrances? There’s a few new releases that make us think it might be
We’ve seen a lot of trends come and go in the world of fragrances, once everything was all about aldehydes and more recently pistachio was everywhere you looked. Now, 2025 appears to be the year of strawberry.
Juliette Has A Gun has launched their first true gourmand scent: Miami Shake. It’s a creamy gourmand that is reminiscent of a thick milkshake or ice cream sundae. Miami Shake comes in three sizes: 10ml for £25, 50ml for £50 and 100ml for £135.
It opens up with wild strawberry before deepening into a heart of whipped cream and ice cream cone before settling into a base of vanilla absolute and creamy musk. The notes draw comparisons to last year’s Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow that retails from £28, although Yum Boujee Marshmallow is on the powdery side.

It’s not just Kayali and Juliette Has a Gun who are launching strawberry scents though. Molton Brown, which you might recognise for luxurious bath care, has recently released their take on the viral note: Bluebell & Wild Strawberry Eau de Parfum which is £140 a bottle.
While there is a lot of fruit at the top of the perfume with blackberry, wild strawberry and bergamot, it quite quickly settles to a floral heart and woody base. This is the strawberry perfume for the fan of florals as it’s quite fresh and the fruity notes are on the fainter side.
Another brand that has jumped in on the strawberry action is NEST New York with their new Santa Barbara Strawberry Oil, which is available from £35. It’s listed as having just one note: strawberry. Fans are raving over the vibrant and juicy smell which aims to transport you to the California coastline.
Phlur’s Strawberry Letter is a crisper take on the fruit with apple blossom and sugared amber, it’s been described as ‘sensual and bold’. It seems strawberry is popping up everywhere lately and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a lot more of it this year – pistachio watch your spot.
