Comedian Katherine Ryan had a few choice words for Strictly’s Thomas Skinner after he revealed that both he and his wife had forgotten his affair with Amy- Lucy O’Rourke
After the jaw-dropping revelation of his affair, Strictly Come Dancing’s Thomas Skinner was quick to claim that he and his beloved wife had put it behind them and had forgotten it happened. However, one hearing his latest admission, comedian Katherine Ryan felt compelled to give him some much needed advice and issued an eight- word warning to the dancing hopeful.
While on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast, the out spoken star simply said that his wife had not forgotten his infidelity, even if he had.
Thomas, who is one of fifteen stars to grace the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor tomorrow evening in the hope of winning the show, admitted to a “two week affair”, following his wedding to Sinead in 2022.
The woman in question was beautician Amy-Lucy O’Rourke. And at the time of his revelation, the former Apprentice star claimed that he immediately felt regret and was grateful that his wife forgave him.

The married couple now have three children together.
In an interview with The Sun, he said: “We are in an incredible place now. We are strong. It’s forgotten about.”
But Katherine stated that the notion the affair was simply “forgotten” was “false.”
She said: “‘It’s forgotten’ is such really inflammatory term for me because I think that for him, it seems forgotten, she forgave him and his life carried on as far as he’s concerned.”
She added: “I promise you, your wife has not forgotten.”
Sharing the clip of her podcast on Instagram, she captioned the post saying: “I think it happens in many ‘regular’ families. I DONT believe people should be professionally ‘cancelled’ for cheating but there is extra intrigue when someone cheats when associated with a mainstream ‘family show.”
She continued: “I said men cheat for no reason and I stand by that. Forgotten? WOMEN NEVER FORGET. I do wish healing to both women in this story and nobody’s perfect, Tom. You’ll be fine too.”
Katherine is pregnant with her fourth child to partner Bobby Koostra. And she has previously claimed that there is a difference between men and women when it comes to engaging in an affair.
She previously explained on Paloma Faith’s podcast: “Every man is one stupid mistake away from exploding his whole life. I think we cheat, but we meant to do it. We’ll have premeditated affairs, we’ve already been in love with him for 18 months.”
She added: “I think a respectable husband and father can leave the house one day [and] slip into a sex worker.”
Amy-Lucy has been vocal over the fact that her affair with Thomas was not as brief as he had made out. In fact, she provided footage of him at her house ringing the ring doorbell while banging on her door. And she also claimed that he told her he was in a marriage of convenience.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: “It makes me really angry that his narrative is that he told her. He did not tell her. I can’t believe he’s trying to make out that he did the honest thing. He did not, he tried to keep the lie up for weeks and was torturing me emotionally.”
She added: “Thomas told me I was the love of his life and sold me an absolute dream. He told me that he was in a loveless relationship of convenience.”
However, Thomas claimed: “I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had. My wife is the best thing that’s ever happened. I’m so lucky she forgave me.”
