Katie Price has shared her pride in reaching a parenting milestone with her eldest daughter Princess Andre, whom she shares with ex Peter Andre
Katie Price has proudly revealed a milestone with daughter Princess – treating her to her first cocktail now she’s turned 18.
After feeling left out in the cold following a ‘ban’ from Princess’ 18th party and being excluded from her debut ITV reality show, Katie and her teen have put the drama behind them.
Speaking on a new edition of her podcast, Katie, 47, opened up about a recent day out in London with her eldest daughter revealing how she splashed cash on matching drinks for them on a girls’ shopping trip.
Spilling details of their day, Katie said: “We had a good time. I said ‘right, now you’re 18 I’ll order you a Pornstar Martini.’
“We went to the restaurant in Selfridges by the shoes, I think it’s a French restaurant or maybe Italian.
“We ordered the same thing, as whatever I order, she orders. And we had the Pornstar Martini and I said ‘yes you’re 18, you can order a Pornstar Martini now.’
“On the side she had a coke and I had a water,” Katie added.
Katie told sister Sophie she was proud they could share that moment together, “It’s the fact I could now legally go ‘there you go Princess.'”
In a new interview this weekend, Peter refused to speak about his fallout with Katie after hitting out at his ex-wife on social media. Speaking to the Telegraph about his ‘saintly’ image, Peter said: “Well, look, nobody’s perfect. No one’s perfect in this world. Everyone makes mistakes. But you get the measure of me by meeting me.”
He went on: “You’ll either think I’m too talkative and annoying, or you’ll think, ‘he’s alright, he’s harmless.”
Earlier this month, Peter issued a rare statement regarding Katie as he hit out at ’16 years of lies.’
He said he wanted to “set the record straight” on a 2019 family court order that brought their two children under his care.
“Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address,” he wrote. “Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”
Katie responded with a social media post about “fake sinners who play the victim”, declaring, “I’m trying to be the best I can.”
While Princess addressed her mother’s absence from her ITV show saying: “There was actually no decision, really. But because I’m living with Dad at the moment, he was in it more. It was never true that I said I didn’t want her in it.”
Sources close to the star – who has been likened to Kylie Jenner in her early career success – said it was upsetting that Katie’s actions threatened to overshadow Princess’ TV launch.
