Katie Price shared footage of herself relaxing at home in front of the TV recently alongside her ‘babies,’ but she wasn’t referring to the ‘twins’ that she introduced last month
Former glamour model Katie Price has posted a new video for her followers on social media in which the reality TV star is seen snuggling in bed with ‘all the babies’.
She wasn’t referring to the ‘twins’ that she introduced last month though, after having told fans back then: “Finally my twins have arrived.” Instead, she was showing off a number of pets, including her hairless Sphynx cats, this week.
Katie recently added two more of the hairless breed, which reportedly cost around £800 each, to her family, bringing the total to five. This week, she shared a video of the cats and her dog Batman cuddling on her lap as she watched TV, seemingly with her partner, JJ Slater, referring to the animals as “the babies”. Katie hasn’t posted anything about the ‘baby twins’ for some time, with some fans likely eager for an update on them instead.
Earlier this summer, Katie, who recently became an aunt again after her sister Sophie had a baby girl, said that she had to put down her five-month-old Sphynx kitten, Frog, due to an incurable neurological disease. As reported by OK! magazine, she wrote about Frog in her book, This Is Me: The High Life. The Dark Days. The FULL Story.
As reported by the outlet, the author wrote: “A few weeks after writing this chapter, we noticed that Frog stopped jumping on the side of the kitchen. Then he couldn’t jump on the sofa. Then he couldn’t jump up on the bed. There was something wrong with him so I took him to the vets.” She added: “He had a neurological disease. There was absolutely nothing I could do. Within days it had spread through his body right to the point that he couldn’t even go to the toilet on his own. So I cuddled him in my arms and he had to be put to sleep. He was only five months old.”
Katie has been previously criticised by animal rights organisation PETA, who went as far as offering her money to stop acquiring more pets and requested she sign a legally-binding agreement to that effect. In a public plea, PETA Vice President Elisa Allen reached out to Katie – who has reportedly always denied any mistreatment of her animals – with an open letter stating: “While your intentions may be good, the ever-growing number of animals who have either died under your supervision or been given away is impossible to ignore, and people are rightly concerned.”
