Australian-American singer Keith Urban’s pals reportedly feel like his split from Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman was ‘inevitable’
Keith Urban’s friends reportedly thought his split from wife of 19 years, Nicole Kidman, was ‘inevitable’. The Hollywood couple, who share two teenage daughters, shocked fans when they reportedly parted ways this summer, with an insider claiming they had been “living apart” for several months.
On their wedding anniversary in June, Babygirl actress Nicole posted a short but sweet tribute to her husband on her social media page, which he only responded to with a red heart emoji. The country singer is known to share romantic posts about his wife, but failed to do so on their milestone day this year.
Meanwhile, his inner circle are reportedly not surprised their marriage came to an end.

Speaking to People, a source said it “really hasn’t been a secret” the couple had been “living separately for a while now.”
“People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” the source continued. The Mirror have reached out to their representatives for comment.
The couple, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, have reportedly drifted apart due to their demanding careers and a growing lack of intimacy.
“Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour,” a source recently revealed. “There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce. They’ve been together for decades, so there is a world in which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, they are not a couple.”
According to insiders, Urban initiated the separation, citing unhappiness in the marriage. “The intimacy isn’t there, they are just going through the motions [of being married].
“If this separation gets them back together, that would be amazing, but Keith had to call her out that he isn’t happy,” the source continued to Daily Mail.
Nicole was said to be “blindsided” by Keith’s sudden decision, but some claim the couple may attempt to work on their relationship over the holiday season and Urban’s upcoming birthday.
TMZ had said that the singer moved out of the couple’s $4 million Nashville compound and into a separate residence in the city.
Sources also claimed the couple’s increasing time apart following the death of Nicole’s mother last September. “They do make an effort to speak every day when they’re apart, but it is shocking how much time they’ve spent apart,” an insider told Woman’s Day.
