Sharon Osbourne revealed her family have been hit with another heartbreaking death just weeks after her rock star husband Ozzy Osbourne died as the family pay tributes
Kelly Osbourne has shared a touching tribute alongside a message to her late dad, Ozzy Osbourne, as the family suffer another devastating loss. The TV star’s famous mum Sharon Osbourne revealed their beloved family dog Elvis had died this weekend.
Their loss came just weeks after Ozzy’s death in July this year aged 76, as they continue to grieve the Black Sabbath icon. Sharon has been receiving the support of their children, Jack, Aimee and Kelly, as they rallied around her as she took a step back from the spotlight.
Son Jack admitted she is “not okay” as she mourns the death of her husband of over 40 years. Now, the family are grieving their dog of 14 years Elvis, who Kelly said helped her “get through the darkest moment of her life”.

She shared a series of photos of the pomsky, including one of him tucked up in bed and another of Kelly and Elvis taking a selfie together. Alongside the snaps, Kelly wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week.
“Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him.
“Life can be so cruel but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years. Thank you for all the love Elvis you were on of a kind. I love you sleep well sweet prince until we meet again!”
Sharon had announced the sad news on Sunday as she shared more photos of Elvis and wrote: “I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!”
In Sharon’s post, she uploaded four pictures of her dog- a cross between pomeranians and Siberian huskies. Elvis could be seen with Ozzy, first as the late Black Sabbath frontman laughed and then snuggled on his chest.
Sharon was married to Ozzy from 1982 until his death in July. Jack recently shared an update on the X Factor icon as he shared: “She’s just trying to figure out where to go from here, how to navigate, what’s the new norm, what’s the new baseline, ‘What do I do without my person?’ But she’s got a lot of love and support around her.”
Kelly has also spoken about her mum, who cared for Ozzy before his death. She said: “I think what’s happening to my mum is the most heartbreaking part of this whole thing. And I think that watching the man that she loves most in this world wither is really, really hard.”
Ozzy even credited Sharon with ensuring he had a long life. He admitted: “If it wasn’t for Sharon Osbourne, I wouldn’t be here now. I would definitely not have the success I have. I wouldn’t be sober. I’d be six foot under without a shadow of a doubt.
“Because I didn’t drink any less or do any more drugs than any of them, but all the guys I used to do it with, they’re all dead, so there must be something I did right in the world. The one thing I did was have my Sharon.”
