Famous friends Kerry Katona and Katie Price enjoyed some quality time together as they cuddled up on the couch following Kerry’s recent split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney
Kerry Katona has shared a heartwarming series of makeup-free selfies with her close friend, Katie Price, as they reunited for a cosy and girly catch-up. The pair, who previously starred together in a panto production of Cinderella, looked relaxed and happy in the photos.
Kerry, 44, posted the candid snaps on Instagram, showing her and Katie, 46, snuggled together on the sofa, both fresh-faced and without makeup. The reunion, which Kerry described as “sooo good,” has delighted fans, with many taking to the comments to praise their strong friendship.
One follower wrote: “Beautiful friendship, you’ve been through so much together and are still going strong,” while others showered them with compliments, calling them “adorable” and “fab.” Kerry and Katie’s bond, formed during their time as I’m A Celebrity campmates, continues to resonate with their followers.
The pals are now due to get on the road as they head on a nationwide tour together. Their “tell-all tour” will kick off on September 11th in Ellesmere Port and wrap up on October 22nd in Hull. Over the course of 38 shows, they’ll open up about their personal lives, relationships, and experiences with the public.
It comes after Kerry recently branded splitting up with her ex-fiance Ryan Mahoney as the best thing that could have happened. The singer confirmed her break-up from Ryan, 36, in November last year. He then moved out of their shared house, bringing to an end their six year romance.
However, despite her heartache at the time, she is now adamant it will turn out to be a great move. She explained her thoughts after returning from Thailand, where she said she had experienced a “real spiritual awakening”. She explained she is now “over that chapter” and has no more romantic feelings for her ex.
Writing in her column for new!, Kerry said: “I’m now working on creating my own relaxation package here at The Beach Samui Hotel where people will be able to book a week-long holiday.
“I’m feeling really good going into 2025 – it’s going to be a great year. I’m not heartbroken anymore and feel like I know that Ryan wasn’t the one for me.” She went on: “I’m a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself. I know people do things like dry January and diets, but I don’t drink much anyway and like to work on myself every day, so I’m not into any of that.”
Earlier in the month, Kerry hinted that the split wasn’t just due to a ‘breach of trust’ as she seemingly revealed there to be more behind their decision. Taking to Instagram, she shared a cryptic video, stating that people shouldn’t settle for another individual who makes you “guess where you stand with them.”
