Kim Kardashian is said to be ‘heartbroken’ after one of her ‘lifer’ friends Lindsay May died following a lengthy battle with cancer, the SKIMS founder is believed to have been leaning on loved ones
Kim Kardashian is reportedly heartbroken after one of her lifelong friends, Lindsay May, passed away following a long battle with cancer. Lindsay and Kim grew up together in Beverly Hills and were very close.
Earlier this week, Kim was seen on a trip to Mexico with two other childhood friends, which sources suggest was in honour of Lindsay. “It’s been really hard on Kim because she had known Lindsay since she was a child growing up in Beverly Hills,” an insider revealed.
“They are only in their forties, not their nineties, so it is difficult to process.”
The source also suggested that Kim has been leaning on her loved ones during this difficult time. “Kim has found comfort with her circle of friends, which she calls her ‘lifers’ and with her sisters who knew Lindsay,” the source added.
Lindsay was best-known as the founder of Mayflower Entertainment, a consulting agency working to connect brands with partners in the entertainment industry. She had previously teamed up with high-end brands like Gucci, reports the Mirror US.
Kim’s friend Simone Harouche, who joined the Kardashians star in Mexico on Wednesday, seemed to touch on their friend’s death on Instagram. Simone shared a series of snaps from her life recently and wrote, “The last 2 months have been a blur. Here’s what I have to show for all of it. in no particular order. My world stopped on Nov 2nd. you took a little of me with you.”
She continued, “God I took some of you. a beautiful sunset took on a whole new meaning. reminisced a lot and the 90s were f—— fun.”
Kim Kardashian also chimed in on the post, writing, “I felt this so deep. I love you so much,” while her sister Kourtney Kardashian added, “This made me cry. I love you.”
Khloe Kardashian also expressed her emotions, commenting, “I cried reading this! I love you! Forever.”
In Simone’s post, she mentioned that she had embarked on “some beautiful adventures” and “said yes to more.”
She further stated, “Took a very long break from Instagram. celebrated birthdays, holidays, friendship and a new year. Felt like I was in a daze a lot of the time, but also felt grateful for every second of this life (another cliche, but also very true). you are always with me. I feel you all the time.”
Kim often posts pictures of her lifelong friends, including Allison Azoff, Simone, Zoe Winkler Reinis, Lindsay, Sarah Meyer Michaelson and Ashley Kraines, on her social media platforms.
