Kanye West had stated he hadn’t seen Saint “this year” amid his latest social media tirade – yet they were pictured together in January – and the riddle has unravelled further
Kim Kardashian is said to have rubbished ex Kanye West’s claim he has not seen son Saint “this year”.
Although Kanye, 47, was pictured with nine-year-old Saint in January, the rapper took to X this week to allege he hadn’t seen him in 2025. Kim, 44, received huge praise on the social media platform for keeping her son away from the troubled musician, who also said online this week he had been in an incestuous relationship with a cousin.
But it has emerged Kanye actually saw Saint – as well as daughters North, 11, and Chicago, six, and five-year-old son Psalm – last week. He shares the four children with Kim, to whom he was married between 2014 and 2022.
A source close to Kim said: “Kanye has been in LA recently for a few months and didn’t ask to see the kids aside from North until a week before he was leaving again. Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants, there are no limitations, but Kim is very careful also to not put them in situations that are chaotic. Protecting her kids are first and foremost.”

Kanye, who is back with wife Bianca Censori following their recent split, previously wrote on X: “I HAVE TO SUPPRESS THE FACT THAT MY KIDS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME AND EVERYONE JUST WATCHES. I need a plan to exercise my rights with my kids.”
However, the Daily Mail reports the singer has had the opportunity – and taken it – to see his children. They spent time together in January and, according to the insider, this month as well.
In January, Kanye was snapped leaving a convenience store with his three youngest kids. An onlooker said: “The kids were buying up the store – they had two carrier bags full of random lollipops and snacks. Myself and a couple of other families noticed him.”
But Ye’s astonishing social media rambles in the months since have left fans – and his ex wife – concerned. His latest tirade includes the references to his relationship with a cousin, which started when they were children.
The controvesial rapper, from Atlanta, Georgia, stated he and his cousin would “act out” scenes they had seen in adult magazines. Kanye, who has won 24 Grammy Awards since 2005’s Best Rap Album triumph for The College Dropout, referenced discovering pornographic magazines in his late mother’s closet when promoting his latest track.
The singer has never publicly identified the cousin he referenced in his new song. However, he did mention a cousin during a 2018 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, saying: “My cousin is locked up for murder and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him.”
