Singing sensation Lady Gaga got emotional talking about her partner, Michael Polansky, while on stage in New York City on Friday evening
Lady Gaga teared up on stage while discussing the pep talk her fiancé, Michael Polansky, gave her before she took to the stage in New York City on Friday. The Abracadabra singer took to the stage for her Mayhem Ball tour when she stopped her performance to open up about the conversation she had with her fiancé.
The star admitted she felt like she had to ‘fight really hard’ through her show as she opened up about how she feels when she returns to the city.
Speaking to the crowd, she said: “I think about walking on the concrete, going all around the city and just – I remember fighting really hard, fighting really hard for my dreams and what I believed in and for myself.”

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, looked back at her fiancé and a close pal giving her ‘really special’ pep talks.
She said, as reported by People: “I was with my friend China before the show, and I said to her, ‘I think I might just fight my way through this whole show, ’cause when I’m in New York, I fight. I gotta earn it, and I gotta go for it’.”
Her friend then told her: “Sometimes you don’t have to fight. You just have to show up.” Her pal’s words ‘meant so much to her’ and Lady Gaga said her fiancé said something similar to her.
“Right before I came onstage, my fiancé Michael said, ‘When you go out there, let them fill you up’,” she revealed before she teared up while introducing her song, Hair. A few weeks ago, she gave a shout out to her fiancé during a different concert.
While sitting at the piano after singing her Billboard Hot 100-topping Bruno Mars hit, Die With a Smile, she thanked her fiancé
“To Michael, Michael Polansky, the love of my life,” she began. “It’s so much more fun doing this with you, my babe. Thank you for how you’ve blessed our life. I hope one day I just vanish into each and every one of you.”
Michael previously discussed his pride for her, telling Vogue in September: “Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean in to the joy of it.
“On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy.”
Lady Gaga and her fiancé met each other in 2019, with the two getting engaged in April last year.
