The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has delighted fans with the announcement of a new career after opening up about her experience as an OnlyFans content creator
Lauren Goodger has announced a new career route after becoming an OnlyFans content creator.
The 38-year-old The Only Way Is Essex icon has been in the spotlight since 2010 when she joined the cast of the ITV reality show as an original member. She quit the series in 2012, but returned periodically – and more recently has been back in the main cast since 2024.
While Lauren has been involved in plenty of drama in front of the cameras, she has had a lot going on in her personal life too – having been in a relationship with Charles Drury and welcoming a daughter named LaRose with him in 2021. The following year, Lauren and Charles faced heartbreak when their second daughter, Lorena, had tragically died soon after she was born.
This weekend, the reality star revealed that she has completed working on a fashion collection – which she is excited to be launching. And Lauren revealed that her little daughter, LaRose, is also excited for the collection – as they posed in matching outfits and with the star revealing fans don’t have long to get their hands on the designs.
Sharing a video montage of herself and LaRose modelling a number of items, Lauren wrote: “So excited my secret is out… Launching my own clothing line on SATURDAY 22ND MARCH! Matching mother and daughter range!! It’s available in-store and online. I will be doing meet and greets and showing off the whole range. Come down, say hello & enjoy the day with me.”
Lauren won praise and support from her fans, followers – and fellow reality stars. Fellow Towie icon Gemma Collins was among those sending congratulations to the star, witing: “Well done Lauren,” with a red love heart emoji. Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu also commented on the news, posting the simple word: “Proud,” along with a heart emoji.
Best friend Junaid Ahmed also offered his support, writing: “So so proud of my best friend Lauren, the original OG Queen of Essex. I know how hard you’ve worked on this and I’m so proud to see it finally out there. No matter what life throws at you, you always bring it LG.”
Lauren’s new venture comes weeks after she opened up about her varying experience with finances, explaining that she felt compelled to turn to OnlyFans to boost her income by selling snaps of herself posing in enticing underwear. She told The Guardian: “I don’t want to have to do OnlyFans,” before explaining that she uses the platform, as money in the reality industry “isn’t what it was”.
She said: “I probably earned the most, but lost a hell of a lot. And that has humbled me, 100 per cent.” And speaking to Closer magazine last year, she revealed that some of her spending had gone on cosmetic procedures. She revealed: “When I had everything done, I looked the b****ks.
“My boobs looked amazing, I loved how I looked in pictures and all the attention. But now I wish I’d never had anything. I want it all out. My bum and boobs make me look bigger and cause me pain. I want to reverse it all and go back to natural.”
