Liam Gallagher has stirred up social media by claiming he has “loads” of spare tickets and adding a cheeky twist for fans trying to snag them
Liam Gallagher has caused a stir with a cheeky social media post, claiming he has “loads” of spare tickets for the band’s upcoming reunion tour—but fans have to do one thing first.
Liam and his brother Noel stunned their fans last month after announcing their long-standing feud had finally come to an end. The famous duo are ready to reunite and join the stage together for the first time since 2009, performing on a string of tour dates across the UK and Ireland next year as they kick off their comeback.
Oasis has now expanded their 2025 tour with additional dates due to overwhelming demand. Fans who missed out during the pre-sale on Friday and the general sale on Saturday have now been given another opportunity to secure tickets.
Just yesterday, the brothers issued the news to fans. In a statement on X, Oasis said: “Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on-sale with Ticketmaster. More details to follow.”
After the news dropped, a fan asked on X if there were any extra tickets available, and Liam’s reply had everyone in stitches. The fan wrote, “Got any spare tickets?” to which the 51-year-old singer responded saying: “S*** loads but there really expensive 100 pounds Kneeling only.
Fans were quick to react to the hilarious comment, with one person writing: “Liam is the best PR Oasis could ever need.” A second person added: “Absolutely savage and I’m here for it LG.” A third person joked: “Sounds like a bargain. Sign me up.”
Just last week, fans were left shocked after finding out that Liam and Noel have already had a “falling out.” The One Show host Matt Baker broke the news telling fans: “Yes. We can exclusively reveal that a week after Oasis got back together they’ve fallen out… with Viagogo.”
Realising that it had been a joke, one X user fumed: “Matt knew what he was doing with that Oasis fall-out line, had me worried for a sec!” As somebody else echoed: “I’ve not managed to get tickets yet (but still holding out hope!!!!) but I had the show on in the background and heard those words and my heart dropped.”
Matt went on to share the Watchdog ‘exclusive’, telling viewers: “We’ve heard exclusively from Oasis. They say their team is monitoring listings on unauthorised resale platforms like Viagogo, and tickets purchased on such sites are liable to be cancelled.”
