One Direction singer Liam Payne fell to his death from a third-floor balcony in October 2024. New details have emerged regarding his final hours
One Direction singer Liam Payne reportedly had a threesome with two prostitutes hours before he died.
A new forensic examination revealed he contacted two women through a sex-worker website and invited them to hang out in his hotel room during his stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The two women reportedly arrived at 11:30am to find him inhaling a drug from aluminium foil.
However, after spending almost three hours in the room, Payne allegedly smashed the TV and demanded they leave without being paid. The singer’s final hours were documented in a 35-page court ruling prepared by judges in Argentina to explain their choice to drop charges against his friend, Roger Nores.
Mr Nores’ hotshot new lawyer Rafael Cuneo Libarona had centred his fight to get his client off his manslaughter rap and said overnight after news of the appeal ruling emerged: “‘We are happy to have reversed the decision by 360 degrees.”
The late One Direction star tragically fell to his death, aged 31, from the balcony of his third floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16. He died after suffering multiple traumas leading to an “internal and external haemorrhage”. In the months prior to his tragic death, the late musician enjoyed a holiday to Greece with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
According to the new reports, as reported by Daily Mail, one of the prostitutes, Lucila Goitea, told investigators Payne had a ‘small whiskey that he was drinking’ and claimed he was ‘consuming something like crystal’ using aluminium foil before asking them to purchase drugs for him. She said: “We had nowhere to get it or anything because we don’t do that. During the time we were there we had sex.”
She claimed the scene in the hotel room as ‘disorganised’ and ‘messy’ before claiming he smelled strongly of alcohol but ‘looked good and looked a harmonious person’. She reportedly said: “If you didn’t get close and smell the alcohol on him you didn’t realize that he had consumed so much.”
When the two prostitutes left, they returned to the room as they forgot a few of their belongings. The ruling by judges Julio Lucini and Hernán López noted that ‘on that occasion’ the singer apologised to the two, Goitea and Aldana Serrano. Serrano claimed Payne, at one point, took his watch off and ‘threw it against the wall’.
It comes as Roger Nores’ lawyer said he is “very happy” after manslaughter charges were dropped against Nores. Appeal court judges also left the two hotel workers accused of the same crime in the clear by reversing an earlier decision to charge them following the singer’s drink and drug-fuelled October 16 third-floor balcony plunge.
Following the announcement, Noris told Rolling Stone: “Glad this is finally over. I’m happy I’m now going to be able to travel to the UK and say goodbye to my friend.”
