Lidl launches £20 ‘mystery’ boxes packed with items worth over £100

By staff21 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

People could find air fryers, TV, exercise equipment and more inside the bargain boxes

Lidl shoppers can grab a bargain neatly packaged in a box – but people won’t have any idea what’s inside until they’re at home. All they will know is that the box costs £20 and the items inside them could be worth more than £100.

But, the stock is extremely limited, so people will need to be fast if they want to take advantage of the deal. Shoppers are being told that a total of 1,500 boxes will be available across the UK, according to the discount store’s bosses. They will each be loaded with “middle of Lidl treasures”.

Every box is a little bit different – packed with a wild mix of the unique, quirky and practical items. Inside could be anything from an Electric Stapler and Nailer (£7.99) and Parkside Insulated Flask (£4.99), to a Breville Ice Coffee Maker (£29.99), Active Cancelling Headphones (£19.99) and many more treats.

Hidden inside 150 random boxes is a shiny ‘Bonus Item Coupon’, unlocking a surprise premium prize, with some worth up to a whopping £100. Winners could snap up goodies, like a cosy Snuggle Pod Human Pet Bed to a powerful Rowing Machine, Vax Air Lift 2 Pet Plus, Daewoo Dual Air Fryer 9L or even a sleek Sharp 43 Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku TV.

Last year, these hot-ticket Mystery Boxes sold out in just under an hour, so shoppers will need to be ready to pounce as soon as they are available. But, before people go racing to their nearest Lidl, be aware that none of these boxes are going to be sold in supermarkets themselves.

Instead, shoppers need to make themselves available on Friday, October 24, for an online frenzy. The Lidl Mystery Boxes will be available to purchase at 10am on Friday (October 24, 2025) via www.mysteryboxesbylidl.co.uk while stock lasts.

All proceeds of the Mystery Boxes will be donated to the NSPCC. Lidl has been asked if customers will be capped on how many boxes they can purchase at once.

Lidl’s boxes will include items that have previously been available to pick up in the middle aisle. Shoppers who are interested about what’s coming next for the discount supermarket’s ‘random’ aisle, look online ahead of the weekly refreshes that happen in stores every Thursday and Sunday.

There is usually an in-sitore leaflet for shoppers to grab on their way out of the supermarket. For even more details, look online here.

The supermarket is no stranger to a bargain bundle. Earlier this year, shoppers were whipped into a frenzy when the supermarket brought out a beauty bundle with items worth £60 and sold limited-edition boxes online for just £5.
