Liverpool are set to meet Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, having enjoyed a victorious return to action on Wednesday as Arne Slot’s side beat rivals Everton 1-0
Liverpool will be back in action this afternoon when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in the Premier League. Although the Reds cannot wrap up the title with a win over Fulham, it would send them 14 points clear at the top.
Arsenal dropped points on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Everton, with Iliman Ndiaye scoring the equaliser from the penalty spot after Leandro Trossard had given the Gunners a first-half lead.
Liverpool bounced back from consecutive defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle before the international break by beating Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday thanks to a Diogo Jota strike.
With all that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at the latest news and rumours from in and around Anfield…

Salah blow
Mohamed Salah was recently spotted at the Albert Dock with a film crew, prompting speculation he could be filming an announcement about his future.
However, according to the Athletic, the sighting had nothing to do with Salah’s contract situation. Instead, it is claimed Salah was simply making an appearance for one of Liverpool’s commercial partners.
Talks remain ongoing over Salah’s future, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season along with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
Agent offers update
Andrea Cambiaso’s agent has insisted the Juventus star is “not interested” in a move, despite speculation he could replace Alexander-Arnold at Anfield.
“He is absolutely focused on Juventus,” Cambiaso’s agent, Giovanni Bia, told TuttoMercatoWeb. “It is normal that there are these sirens being one of the strongest full-backs in Europe. There are a few movements around, for example Alexander Arnold seems like he could go to Real Madrid but in general there are various situations that could change.
“At the moment he is not interested in anything, his objective is Juventus and to do very well there. He is absolutely happy at Juventus, he has always said it in a thousand ways and in a thousand places.”
Postecoglou’s swipe
Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has taken a swipe at Liverpool ahead of his side’s clash with Southampton on Sunday.
“I think in the time I’ve been here, we’ve had two decisions that have gone for us against Liverpool and there has been a national campaign, almost,” he said. “It seems like every fight ends up being an internal fight at this club.
“There’s never any sort of defending of the club or the club defending itself. That’s a unique challenge, but I accepted that challenge so I’ve got to try to find a way to overcome it.”
