A budding Love Island couple have called time on their relationship just one month after being spotted looking cosy during a double date night
Former Love Island stars have called time on their budding relationship outside of the villa. Emily Moran, 24, and Ciaran Davies, 22, had grown close in recent months, but have decided to cut their connection.
Emily took part in the latest edition of the show, while Ciaran entered the abode last year looking for love. While both weren’t successful in their quest on air, it appeared as though they move have found what they were looking for in each other.
However, a source has now said it “just wasn’t working out” between the reality TV stars. It remains to be seen what led to their split after they had confirmed their romance just a month earlier.

“Emily and Ciaran both decided to call it quits as it just wasn’t working out between the pair of them,” a source told The Sun. The Mirror has approached representatives for Ciaran and Emily for comment.
The duo were spotted looking close in Manchester last month. During the outing, Ciaran was seen with his arm around the Welsh star and they seemed to be enjoying each other’s company.
Fellow Love Islanders joined the pair for a double date, with Harrison and Lauren also arm in arm. Emily and Ciaran were first linked to each other in August when they were at the same bar.
The outing led to fans speculating there could be more than just friendship on the agenda. One user on Reddit said: “I feel like this is a perfect pairing,” while another claimed their choice of the same bar was “definitely not a coincidence”.
They are said to have made a connection relatively soon after Emily was dumped from the villa in brutal fashion earlier in the year. A source previously told The Sun: “Ciaran initially approached Emily when she left the show just to congratulate her and stuff on how she was and handled herself on the show towards the end, which got them to talking.”
The news comes after Casey O’Gorman was revealed to be returning to Love Island for the fourth time. In another bid for love, he has joined the line-up for spin-off show Love Island Games.
Speculation had been rife that the 28-year-old could be joining the show for a number of weeks. And now the news has been confirmed.
But he will be joined by an ex on the show, with Gabby Allen also confirmed to be taking part. The pair had won All Stars series two together earlier in the year.
The Love Island USA Instagram page shared their cast portraits and captioned it: “The bigger the bow, the bigger the Bombshell. Welcome to the villa, Casey and Gabby!”
Casey can be seen wearing a pair of salmon swimming shorts in his promotional picture as he smiles to the camera. Gabby meanwhile was seen wearing a sizzling red bikini and stares seductively while standing in a ring.
