Love Island All Stars watchers have been demanding to know the name of Harriett Blackmore’s perfume after Ronnie instantly recognised the scent and ‘fell right back in love’ with her
Perfume brands may advertise scents powerful enough to make someone fall in love with you at first whiff, but in reality, has it ever really happened? The answer was probably no until Harriett Blackmore waltzed into the Love Island All Stars villa and made her ex Ronnie Vint fall instantly at her feet – while blindfolded.
Some say it was the kiss he recognised, others say it was the way she held him during the kissing challenge, but there are legions of people on social media convinced that Ronnie knew it was Harriett the second she came near him because of her smell.
We’ve been doing some investigating for the good of all womankind, and Boots has kindly let us know the perfume Harriett is using and loving in the villa is Tom Ford Eau D’Ombre Leather, on sale at £107.95.
One Tiktoker took to the app shortly after the episode aired to ask for the name of the scent in a now-viral video, asking: “What perfume do we think Harriett was wearing girlies?!”

Captioning the short clip, she added: “As a perfume girl, I need to know what perfume Harriett was wearing. What perfume makes a man instantly recognise you while blindfolded? What perfume makes a man profess his undying love for you on national TV”.
Plenty of commenters believe they know the answer, with some suggesting Harriett has been using the same Louis Vuitton scent for years. However, since Boots stocks the villa – and considering the retailer claims she listed it as one of her must-haves in her pre-villa beauty questionnaire – we believe her go-to scent at the moment is the luxurious Tom Ford Eau D’Ombre Leather.
Blending rich amber, vanilla, glowing leather and invigorating spices, it’s a scent that can certainly turn heads with just a spritz. And now we know it can make a man fall back in love. Usually £127 for a large 100ml bottle that will last you ages, it’s currently on offer with a near-£20 saving, making it more affordable at £107.95.
Since the scent is unisex, we imagine Harriett combines two perfumes to get a signature smell with a more feminine edge. Her other go-to, says Boots, is Prada’s Paradoxe, now £58.65. A woman like Harriett, who understands perfumes to such a degree, would almost certainly be skilled in the art of fragrance layering. Now, we just need her to leave the villa and let us in on her full skincare and scent routine!
As for the other Islanders, we’ve also had a scan at their questionnaires to see the scents they’re using, and one brand reigns supreme in the glam room: Libre Flowers & Flames from YSL. Lauded as “radiant and feminine,” it’s a sworn favourite of four of your favourite islanders, including Catherine, India, Gabby and Olivia, who all say it’s their “go-to” for day and night wear.
Head over to Boots, where you can grab a 30ml bottle of this Love-Island-approved scent at its full price of 30ml, at £72, or pop to Debenhams where you can shop the YSL icon for the reduced price of £86.70 for 50ml.
