Luke Littler claimed the £500,000 top prize after beating Michael van Gerwin in the 2025 World Darts Championship final and has been receiving plenty of attention
World darts champion Luke Littler has revealed he has mostly been ignoring girls messaging to meet up after his win at Ally Pally.
The teenager followed up his runner-up finish in 2024 by going all the way this time around, sealing a sensational victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final. The victory earned him a whopping £500,000 payday – all before his 18th birthday, which he celebrated this week.
Littler and girlfriend Eloise Milburn split up in the summer of 2024, with the Premier League Darts winner urging fans to avoid messaging her. “Everyone needs to stop sending hate towards Eloise saying it’s her fault this and that, I myself split up with Eloise and everyone just needs give us some time, no need for everyone to message her and give her grief,” he said in a statement in July.
Since then, and since the World Championship win in January, Littler has been receiving offers to meet up from a number of women. For now, though, he has not been paying them any heed.
“I have had a few requests from girls to meet up. But I generally don’t reply,” Littler told The Mail. “It’s just people looking at me and the money I am making, and they want part of that.
“My mum and dad told me to keep the friends I have. Give it a few years and I may meet someone along the way.
“I have a couple of good friends from school and a few friends from different schools. They are doing well. They have apprenticeships, at Asda or McDonald’s, or want to be plumbers or electricians. All have good jobs and are trying to make money for themselves.”

The world title capped off a whirlwind 12 months for Littler. He scooped the £275,000 top prize for his 2024 Premier League Darts success, netting another six-figure score in the Grand Slam of Darts before his Ally Pally triumph.
He also won the Bahrain Darts Masters in early 2024, but was unable to go back-to-back, losing to Gerwyn Price in this year’s edition. On Friday, he began his Dutch Darts Masters campaign with a nervy win over Dimitri Van den Bergh, prevailing by a 6-4 scoreline to set up a reunion with Van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.
The first round saw eight qualifiers take on eight Benelux representatives, with Dutch star Van Gerwen in the former camp as he took on compatriot Dirk van Duijvenbode. Five of the qualifiers made it through, but world number one Luke Humphries suffered a shock defeat against Jermaine Wattimena in Den Bosch.
